I am sure not looking forward to the return of the old wilderness as I have never pked, however, I also know a lot of people enjoyed this aspect of the game most (and no, I don't think about those that went out to kill anyone weaker than them, but those 'mature' pkers someone referred to in another thread - those that would fight for the thrill of the hunt, the possible danger of losing all you had on you, the ones that fought with equal equipment to determine who had the better skill in handling what was available to them ...).
And quite honestly, I enjoyed the fact that there was a market for the goods I produced as a skiller, the time when the finished article was actually worth more than the material to make it.
However, I am more concerned with the implications of other game play ... penguins, clues, runite rocks, abyss rcing, rift entrances, use of forinthry bracelets, assist system (why should I allow someone to use my skill level to make high level armour if I could equally make the item myself and sell it to them?), community building and friendship to name but a few (whom can you trust when 'friendliness' could be a cloak for someone trying to lure you?).
And as much as I am looking forward to free trading to help my friends achieve their goals (like equipping a friend with correct armour etc to finally beat Nomad), I am not looking forward to the botting and scamming and the nastiness of some people.
I sure hope Jagex has considered all implications and has put measures in to counter all that. As for me, I would love to see non-pking worlds as we had PvP worlds for those that missed the wilderness that much in the past (yes, wildy should be dangerous, but even if you remove the skillers from the equation ... with 91% of people happy to have the wilderness back there will be enough 'cannon fodder' for any pker without us, and if there isn't, it would be clear proof that not everyone who voted, voted for the return of the wilderness after all!).
