ive tried the abyss, and its proof positive that the jagex lied about the vote. i got hit mulitple times with the agility armor, and was never stopped. jagex created the agility armor KNOWING the abyss would be back.
the vote was a sham. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

This whole update was a waste... Free trade just breaks the whole GE set up. Plus every person under the sun is trying to scam in any way possible. Also, the wilderness is just annoying now. If you want to do anything that doesn't involve PKing, you just get interrupted by some ass hat that feels like messing with you. A good example: treasure trails. You wont drop anything, but it just annoys the hell out of me when people still try to kill you. Its pointlessly stupid.
I hope the scamming causes this to only last a week.
Also, to set my feelings straight on the whole vote, I think it was utter BS. Anyone can make an account at any time. The people that wanted this update the most are the most likely to cheat. Therefore, it is not unlikely that they made multiple accounts to rack up an ass load of votes. I'm not surprised it happened, but it is no indication of what the general population wanted.

All I can say is, that it's good to see Runescape revived back to the old days. My only fault with this is the Grand Exchange. I think it should still have limits, but player to player trade should still be unlimited. Buying and selling for ridiculous prices should only be when you have to find a person in a crowd willing to buy your item. Just like the old days...

I agree the whole thing was set up before hand.
Already getting fed up of the beggers, hopefully the novelty will wear off. As for the girl that came up to me and said "gimmee bandos" go and work for it is the standard answer now.
Looks like the wildy is also a novelty at the moment. Most people playing in there are curious and risking not a lot.
The free armour trimming service is back along with many other scams, what a shock.
Just waiting for the influx of bots now!!!
Only things I do like so far:
1. The loan box now in the grand exchange view.
2. The gamers grotto with handy bank near sc
Sorry folks buts thats all I like so far.
How long before people get fed up of this backdate

The wildy didn't make runescape, it was a part of it though in the old days. It just evolved since its begginings.
If the wildy made Runescape how come that no Golden Demon awards were won while it was here previously?
After its demise the award was won twice.
All the wildy in its pre 2007 and now format breeds is lazy, workshy players that think other players should give things away to them. As well as other undesirables, scammers and hackers. In fact all the things Jagex has worked so hard to erradicate.
