Comment on this threads topic because with 10 days left for free trade and wilderness coming back, this matter still has not been approached and Jagex may have a big problem with this.
Sorry to advertise another thread but it is really just a way to pull your attention towards this matter.

Actually, I think it's too late, as working on this major update is not a matter or one or two hours.
Jaxed made a deadline for the referendum, for a good reason, the update could take more then a week to prepare, as programming a big update is not something easy to do.
Guys think of it this way:
If the wilderness is going to be filled with Pks, then at some point they will be attacking each other.
Edit: Also the number of forumers posting on the thread you mentioned won't change Jagex's mind, as 1092000 players stated they want the update to the Wilderness/Trade back.

No, Crusader, assuming you used 91% of total "yes" votes or something similar, that number represents the total number of VOTES cast for "yes" NOT the total number of players who voted "yes." We can argue about how great the difference is between those two figures, but nobody with an ounce of sense can claim the numbers are identical.
EDIT: Wow, I'm starting to make all kinds of mistakes here. That first line should say "...91% of total votes..."

Yes, exactly Phthartic. Pardon me for my mistake.
I wanted to say that the number that I stated is the number of ACCOUNTS that voted yes not PLAYERS.
As you ment, if we take the number of PLAYERS that voted, we might have different results, but even with that counted, would these players have such a large number of accounts that would make that much difference? (91% to 9%).
E.G: It would take 100000 PLAYERs and each one owning 5 ACCOUNTS to make some difference.
In both cases, where if NO have the majority of votes and vice versa Jagex could not know if the same person voted several time.

The Land--
I went there and posted.
For those who haven't it's basically a bunch of people... (I hesitate to use the word "crying," but, hey, that's what I've been accused of doing a lot recently) crying about the rules not allowing them to trade items or money between their multiple accounts. Some reasonable suggestions, but a lot of people posting their various ideas as to how to do just that and not get caught. And people demonstrating their complete ignorance of the rules, and realizing their multiple accounts may not have been such a great idea after all.
Let's all give them a big "AWWWWWWW."
But I wouldn't worry; Jagex will probably either give them a one time dispensation because they couldn't be bothered to read the rules, or else just not enforce that rule like so many others.

Sorry, don't mean to nitpick, Crusader, but so many supporters, and Jagex senior management as well insist on conflating the two terms, it is really starting to educate me on how so much vote fraud is tolerated in real life.
Don't really understand the last sentence; Jagex can certainly tell which players own which accounts, so they could have certainly limited the vote to one per player if they had wanted to.

I do agree that it is wrong to let many players vote the same time again and again, Phthartic.
The process of finding out wich players own wich account is quite difficult, even for Jagex, if the player HAS NOT submitted an E-Mail address.
Edit: What I mean by the E-Mail address, is that most MMOs/MMORPGs can find out in a relatively easy way if different accounts are owned by the same player or not.
Thank you for your constructive criticism.

1 Crusader 0 & Phthartic,
Thanks for the ref to the "Wilderness & Free Trade Q&A" thread (Quick find code: 254-255-55-62204744 btw).
Some interesting stuff there. Including a few changes from the old wildy.
No more dropping stuff to keep it from appearing to pkers in the wildy, for one.
Untradeable items will still not appear to pkers, though. I hope we'll still be able to go back and pick them up.

About gravestones showing your stuff to other players when they disintegrate:
That's not necessarily all bad. In the GWD, for example, if you're with a team of friends and die, your friends could pick up your stuff for you when your gravestone disintegrates. Then you don't have to get 40 kc just to go in and pick up your stuff.
