People will not bless graves, they will wait until they crumble away, so they take the items, especially in Dagannoth Kings, God Wars, King Black Dragon and such.

I personally do not want the old wildy back, too many bad memories of getting completely owned as a lower level because of higher leveled players luring weaker players to their deaths at the hands of ancient magicks and overpowered weapons. Free trade, I'm skeptical about, because all that's going to do is bring back bots in massive droves again. I'm probably going to boycott this garbage, not like my vote can do anything, but still. NO OLD WILDY BACK! >****;

Also, what's going to happen to the agility course? Is it suddenly going to be dangerous to go without full PK gear just to do agility now? I actually preferred the revs to PKers because at least with revs, they don't have Korasi's sword and chaotic weapons hitting constant 300s on you! >****; I actually liked the wildy now, but now I doubt I'm going out there again, in case I get teamed by 10 Korasi specs all at once, as is the norm for PvP worlds. :@

How will gravestones work now?
If you die in the wilderness there will be no gravestone. At all. If you were killed by a player, they get the drop. If you were killed by monster, the drop appears for everyone immediately.
Some areas of the wilderness are still PK free (like the original mage arena). In those areas AND in the rest of the game, a gravestone will appear and exist just as they do today. The gravestone can still be blessed and maintained by other players. A player returning to their gravestone will be able to reclaim all their lost items.
If a player doesn’t return to their gravestone and it crumbles away, all players will be able to pick up the loot."
The last section, where King Cancel quoted his post, is from the FAQ of wilderness and free trade update.

There's a new wilderness FAQ thread advertised on the front page. I just read it before seeing King cancel's post, and I think it comes from there, but I'm not sure that it said what he's implying it said. But I guess if there are no gravestones in the wildy then where else would it apply but everywhere else?
EDIT: Yeah, crusader beat me to it and did it better.
Is that any different than the way gravestones work now? Yeah, I guess now nobody can pick up another players stuff when the gravestone disappears. So I guess there will be less altruism under the new regime, but that fits right in.
It probably won't change my policy of blessing graves generally. I don't want some fellow slayer's hard earned stuff. Unless they were acting like a jerk to everybody; then I'll take their stuff and hop like everyone else.
Perhaps this will actually encourage politeness to your fellow players on the off chance that you forget a potion dose or something and die....
EDIT2: No, come to think of it, that last sentence is a dumb thought: I'll skip running through the 8 scenarios, old system/new system, dead polite player/dead rude player, altruistic bystander/greedy bystander but I don't think politeness will help get your grave blessed under the new system.
But I could be wrong.

so jagex claim theres something 15 to 20 million accounts and the biased pole vote gain just under 1.3 million votes, of which 91% voted yes.
so if you round the figures off 900,000 people were allowed to state how the other millions of players get the game play too them.
yes i went on the forum and placed a NO vote.
those how played afew years ago know when someone died everything they had on them dropped instantly and was easy pickings, but that was changed too allow players time to go back and have a chance to get some of thier items back before they lost them.
those who played awhile ago will remember the mass bot invasions and prices dropped to nothing. by allowing free trade again and wildy, the botters have been waiting for this and will over run the game far worse then they have ever before.
that lazy players rather then work for cash will go back to fleebay and offsite websites to buy there cash with the big risk of having their accounts hacked or WORST if used a credit card be hit by credit card fraud.
what about the PMOD's ( player moderators) having been 1 in the past on a different account, there going to be spilt 2 ways.
1) plauged with players claiming theyve been scammed and wanting help.
2) once the bots hit back bigtime, pmods are going to be split by do i play and ignore the bots, or if they help trying to sort scammers and bots out then whatever little time they may have online, is going to be moderatoring and no real game play time.

players are going too screams at pmods for seamingly doing nothing about the bots, and all the extra hassle on the pmods will cause some pmods to give up being a pmod, therefore reducing the help to keep the game safe and secure for all.
