I'm curious why botters are even a concern in this topic.
Botters existed with free trade and wildy, and they exist in the exact same way now.
Taking out free trade was an attempt to stop real world trade, not the botters themselves.
For those who are unaware, RWT is alive and well to this day. 'No free trade' just killed merchanting, and annoys normal players. It had little to no effect on RWT. It slowed them down for...maybe a week. Then methods of transferring were found, and are STILL being found. Jagex simply didn't want to say "our bad" and reverse the decision when they figured out their attempt to stop RWT had failed miserably.
If you couldn't figure out but what I just said, the wilderness was destroyed to support no free trade. People could just go to the wildy and kill eachother for all the other persons loot, making no-free-trade useless. So wildy had to go, and we have this abomination of a system that exists today. EP is the stupidest PvP system i've ever seen. It's truly disgusting.

So anyone not voting YES simply because they think botters will be more prevalent are wasting their time. This vote will have no effect on the botting population currently residing in runescape. It will just re-introduce merchanting and real PKing.

True, true, but when I wood cut, I am able to do other things such as read, or enjoy another game and check back about every 5 minutes to make sure I am still happily cutting, it is the amount of work it requires to do is why I perform it in the first place.

i remember getting scammed when i was a newb i had a meager 500 gold and i was doing the quest were you needed an eye of newt and the guy asked told me they were worth a lot so i bought it with all the money i had then he goes and shows me they were really worth 3 gold so i was mad but i love free trade and wildy but you know you just got to learn from being scammed and not let it happen again
