sin of pride blatently has no well constructed arguement behind his disapproval and i'll disregard his disrespect towards Jagex.
Now I completely understand the reason's as to why those would not want free trade/wildy back, bots, scammers, the list goes on; however it is in the interest of the creaters to provide the most enjoyable gameplay for their consumers yet most profitable for themselves. In my opinion the wild may have brought along a significant sources of conflict, however it also brought an enormous market of players along with it.
I, myself have been playing runescape since 03', 04' and therefore have seen the game evolve to incredible standards. Standard's and gameplay that i hope will continue to flourish, but to do so i believe the wilderness must return. The new pvp system may prevent all the things spoken of early however it simply doesnt hold that pker mentality that i (among others) so graciously enjoyed. Although i have heard many who enjoy the pvp system's brought on after the removal of the wilderness i must admit i have not met but one who enjoys it MORE.
When it truely come's down to it, Jagex must provide what the masses desire in order to increase the demand for their game.. and that desire is, and will remain the wilderness.

As far as free trade, i have a very wavering opinion on this subject. The min/max that has been set by Jagex is an incredible endeavour that has created a more civilized, almost evolving community with its fluctuation determined by what id assume is the demand and supply of that item. However Jagex attempts at cease bots and the supply of gold by organizations and online distributers has inflicted mild dilema's for their players. Simple things such as distributing gift's to long-term friends or simply being kind!
In the end however i do not see much of a need for free trade to return as it will bring along untold amounts of illegal activity among the players.

Personally, I dont PK or PvP. Some may like it here - if I wanted to do that again personally I would log into another mmorph I play. Im here for the OCD component of skilling. That being said. Each of us have different playing styles and goals.
Personally free trade is welcomed except that like all mmorphs you will have a jump in scams - there are players that hover waiting for an unsuspecting person to start a trade and hit accept too early. Going to happen. The double accept click that Jagex has in place now should help prevent that and in my opinion if you hit accept twice without thinking you prob deserve to lose on that trade - pay attention.
Wildy im not happy about at all. I dont go there much as is, but I do LOVE doing clue scrolls. Someone posted they were going to change all that - thats in fact incorrect - the Jagex position on clue scrolls (and others) is "on a case by case basis". Here is my 2 cent solution...
When they changed it - they added pvp and bounty worlds...all they have to do is change wildy back and create a couple of servers where wildy is as it currently is. Questers and treasure hunters can world hop to complete their assignments without entering into a PvP situation they might not want to deal with. Solves everyones issue on that.
I have no interest in playing for hours and days and months to farm to get say a whip and go off on a clue scroll just to have some PKer with maxed stats and gear "pown my noob ***" and in secs take my wep took me along time to get, when I have no experience or desire to engage in that "activity" but do want to be involved in another distraction.
PS for the poster that said Revs were way worse then PKers ever were...reread the vote...they will be MOVED not REMOVED...so there will be yet ANOTHER part of Runescape landscape players will avoid instead of just wildy. Nothing they have said about wildy has any solidity to it. Its like someone had an idea and voting about it before its planned out.

The only way to battle the 20 plus votes from the same person is............
Only a Member should be able to vote....this way if they want to make many accounts to vote multiple times...they will have to pay for it.....plus think of the money you could make from this stratigy Runescape :)
But seriously it is all about the Mighty Dollar and who pays your Bills? Members!

Besides you need a new vote this one is flawed with pork
2 seperate votes are needed here
Free trade - Yes or No
Wild - Yes or No

OK, Im back. After reading the post's i have missed i have grown a passionate love for "death by nub" and "a true pr0".
gadderanks - you lost a d chain? no one cares you shouldn't have been stupid enough to go into the wildy in a d chain if you weren't prepared to lose it.
fally massacre - no chance.. gravestones ftw.
every other noob - you've lost get over it. stop fighting. most of you probably never experienced the wonders of true wildy and free trade so stfu..
A true pr0 and death by nub.. just so amazing.

There was no disrespect in any one of my posts. Jagex HAS made mistakes when releasing updates. This backs up what I say and this is by no means disrespectful.
I haven't said that Jagex WILL make a glitch: I've only said that they MAY make a glitch.
Side Note: My reasons for voting are my own and nobody needs to know them, so I don't think I have any necessity to post them.
------
This is my sig now
------
If I see anyone complaining about losing their stuff after the update I've got a plan.
First, I'll ask them if they voted "yes."
Then, I'll spit in his/her face and say it's your own damn fault.
God forbid something like the massacre happens again because of some glitch (you just know) jagex is going to miss. I might run out of spit.
