Well of course some people will be against the free trade, there will be the probability of scam. Well, didn't the Runescape manual tell us to double check our 2nd confirm page in a trade? Getting that page is already a blessing; the actual names of your items to prevent the mix up similar looking items (Rune & Mithril).
Getting scammed is unfortunately the player's own fault. I never got scammed since I actually pause a bit at the second page to see if everything's alright. I approve 100% the free trade because of this fact that you have the chance to double check, and when an item is removed from the trade it flickers red.
The wilderness, again, I have my doubts for most of us non-player killing people just minding our own business and getting attacked by a greedy player :P . Though I'd like 5 or 4 world that would just have revenants in the wilderness for the people embarking in quests or clue scrolls and not wanting to get killed. Apart from that, the wilderness is great!
Well, that's my opinion. The most constructive I can get.

I quit this game for 604 days, because of the trade limit and wildy changes, I loved the risks of going into the wildy and making sure you don't get scammed, it's a part of the game that Jagex deleted, sure there are bots and real world traders, but that's the reason for moderators, to stop these fiends that are exploiting the game.
I vote yes to bring back the wildy and trade.

i don't really care about the trade thing though, but if i had to vote i would vote to have the old trading system back cuz it was better

Bringing back no trade limit and pk'ing is a good idea, allowing players to play to their full extent. Trading is a big apart of the game. But they should tweak it a little
in my opinion. For pking, you can have the current PVP
worlds converted to the old pking format of the past, leaving the rest of the worlds untouched. This will allow the current wilderness to be left free for those that oppose pking, cause not everyone pks. This allows everyone to do quests, clues, etc. This also allows pkers to have their old ways of pking.
Both win/win situation. As for no limit trading, there will always be RWT, and scammers regardless. There will always be merching clans. Thats what makes every game. So no trade limit should be untouched imo. Cause even if ppl come back and RWT and what not, players shouldnt be the ones that have to pay the price for their actions. If rs wants to combat rwt, im pretty sure they will have their own solutions. Im pretty sure they came up with something already.

If you bring back free trade and the wilderness I know that there are going to be a lot of runescape players that played this game religiously (including me) and if people scammed its the only way that they can learn not to get scammed again, as a young player of runescape I got scammed more than once and in a way its somewhat of a rite of passage because you will notice scams before they happen and possibly warn other players of them so that they don't need to deal with the frustration, I've been playing since day one of runescape 2 and I love this great game and have spent many hours playing it and having fun with my friends and I'm the only one of my friends who still plays this game and i know that if you brought back free trade and the wilderness you would have a massive return of lost players, please take this into mind I would enjoy the game much more again, and don't get me wrong the game is still amazingly fun but it just doesn't have that nostalgic feel that it used to when I started playing all those years ago

Thank you Jagex, Since the update in 2007 my playing of Runescape slowly declined to the point that I had *topped playing entirely. I am now happy to say that due to this update I have decided to come back, I have re-newed my membership and I plan on Playing just as I used to. (If the update does get introduced that is.)
IMO, The only people that will complain about this are either the newbies whom don't know how fun Runescape used to be, or, the people that have been scammed in the past. Tbh, The newbies will learn to love this update as it grants so much expansion to the game as a whole, and the people that have been scammed in the past should have used their BRAIN, It's really pathetic to complain about being scammed when Jagex have released so much material warning you about the dangers, especially when you have to read a sign and jump a ditch to enter the Wilderness, this should be enough to ring alarm bells in your head. And yet, People still do this, after being warned, and then complain to Jagex. It really is just pathetic, I played for a number of years before the update and I can safely say I NEVER got scammed, because I took notice of the Warnings Jagex gave us.
But overall, I am really pleased that you are attempting to restore runescape to it's original state, as it will allow Long-Term players to re-live the glory days.
Thanks =)
Kiz
