Have you ever thought that players want the wildy back so they can, you know****?
Or how they want free trade back so merchanters can, you know, merch?
Maybe it didn't occur to you, but I seriously doubt that the 90% of people who voted yes are all scammers and bots. Statistically speaking, that's impossible. Considering how many people quit because of the previous removal of these things, doubly so.
Also, botters can't vote because they're too busy botting.
Anyway, I can't wait till the landslide of votes finally tells Jagex that yes, even after 3 years, people DO want these things back.

People say if free trade and the old wildy come back it will ruin runescape. I have been a member to Runescape since the start. And back then Runescape was never "Ruined" so what would make it happened agian? Ok so back than there were bots on yew trees...But yews were also 150 gp each people could actrually afford to skill. If all us older players survived free trade and the old wildy without ruining runescape who says it'll will ruin it now? Back then runescape was at its prime. Some people talk of scams well, if you use your head it won't happen, and if it does learn from your mistakes. In some ways some of the newer updates are great, and with a combination of the old and the new runescape will be great! I say bring it on and let the good times roll.
P.S. for all you older members who can forget the countless hours of getting flax bots killed by tricking them down to the giant bats in Cammy :D

And i just had an interesting conversation with an old friend about this topic. Hes all for free trade and wildy but he was trying to think up any little thing to go agianst it. One of his few arguments was doing clues in the wildy. Personally its time to grow up and not have everything handed to you on a silver platter. From almost the beginning of the removal of free trade and old wildy jagex began to move towards the lower level'd players of the game and accomidate them. Everything in this game can't be easy there has to be challenges to overcome and chances to be taken. With the beginning of the new year we see free trade and old wildy on top of a god wars expansion. Its about time the older players get a taste of once became a standard expectation of jagex.

And just to add for those that don't agree with bringing free trade and wildy back did you ever just stop and think how it'll effect you.
Free trade - how exactly does this effect you? (Random person- I might get scammed!!!!!) Well pay attention and it won't happen end of story...thats probably your only excuse
Old Wildy - how exactly does tihs effect you? Pros - you'll always get your loot from your kill so more money and most of the wilderness area attraction will be relocated
Cons - (Random person - I MIGHT GET LURED@!!!!) once agian pay attention and it won't happen and if it does learn from it..
All in all free trade doesn't affect you at all...and old wildy only makes it better and you'll make more money

If you actually read through all the forums and spend your time you will find very compelling arguments towards this change jagex and people alike. Sure there is more yes votes then no. But those No votes have more power behind them

That's kind of biased. There are definitely a lot of compelling arguments for bringing these things back, but because the (overwhelming) majority want it, no one has felt the need to present said arguments.
A vote is a vote. No one person has more power in something like this than another.

Check playing times of long time players with your 'splash to balance high levels' and this stupid 'vote', see how much play time is down by the higher levels.
At least balance the vote with IP address to reduce it to 1 or even up to 5 votes per unique IP address.
Really, for a computer company, sometimes you make me sad with how you do things.

Well, first off Daren Jagex is not a computer company, if anything they can be dubbed as an entertainment company, since they produce games for entertainment. They do not manufacture, or sell computers.
Secondly, what about the players who share IP's? For example siblings, I've even knew of a few parents who have played along with their kids. If you really think the people who are voting no aren't doing the same thing, than you're sadly mistaken. Personally, it takes too much time to create an account, I won't be creating additional accounts just to vote. Besides, I don't have to, the overwhelming majority of players share my wants.
