The economy is f'ed up and people are much richer today then back then, and Runescape, while perhaps still popular, is not as popular as it used to be.

And fred, I check the ge website almost everyday so I can find possible items to merch, and I always check the phats just for fun... They have been on a constant steady increase in price since the removal in 07.
Just look at one of the graphs, every time one is bought is goes up a bit coz people only buy them for max coz they have more money.

the fact is it never lost publicity weather you like it or not
im not going to argue anymore as it clear i cant change your mind and we both going to disagree with one another
but i have tried to show facts that show the game was as popular and as searched for today as it was back in 2007

and i have also showed facts that the economy had super rich players back in 2007 like it does now
3 more years of playing and skilling has jsut made them richer but the gaps where as big back then as they are now.

guys,F*** the scammers,F*** the luring F*** all this,the only people who get scammed or lured deserves it for being noob,¬¬
i play since 2005 or 2006 and i remmeber when there was the Online Players:1,000,000+ per day normally
Now:500,000 per day at the max ive seen
WILD and FREE TRADE makes the runescape better,just make an anti-scam thing make 3 trades window,the 2 first ones and then an third one,wich says:
This Will be Your recieved items:30,000,000
(personnamehere) will be what who you trading will recieve:
10x Abbysal Whip (THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE,I COULDNT THINK IN ANY 30M ITEM)
About wildy,just make 10 Non-Wildy Worlds,5 f2p,5 p2p
About Free Trade,just make 20 Non-Freetrade world wich will have the trade limit normally
And let the other worlds with Wildy and free trade
Oh,and let the G.E. normally with the fixed prices but change them to Suggested Minimum/Medium/Max Price(just sugested but per example sugested price for red phat:500,000,000 but i can buy it for 1coin[well no ona gonna sell it but whatever]) instead of FIXED Price.

I believe That jagex be controlled RWT:in and i think that the players stops RWT:in Because they know what could happen again. So i think RWT its not problem anymore
Hmm -> Scamming -> We Have GE and its solution if u scare become to scammed, Before when free trade was scamming happened much but its my own fault, so if you buy something other player you just have to watch hes not scamming and not panic just accept tradr slowly and watch what he trades.
Lure -> it has always been, players know that if you go wilderness lure you will lose all your items. now a wild frontier is ditch the need to jump over to get wilderness
Luring = Its not big problem - so i vote YES TO BRING BACK FREE TRADE AND WILDERNESS
Scammin = Not Problem -> We have GE so use GE so you can not be scammed - so i vote YES BRING BACK FREE TRADE AND WILDERNESS
RWT = Small Problem - I believe players have learned to stop RWT because they know consequences and they heartedly wish free trade and wild back
CURRENTLY like 90% Wants Back Wild/Free Trade its really much and i believe that runescape is going to be better game again******; Can Feel again old times =)
I think That by voting YES WE ARE ON THEY WAY TO BETTER !

Ah i voted yes :D and am pleased to have done so. I would love to have the wildy and free trade back!
But, with a few modifications would be nice. certain worlds that dont have wildy would be great also, to help the clue scrollers. if they have to enter the wilderness, they switch to a no rampage killing annihaltion world. just like it is now.
free trade, GREAT! i loved it like that!
Never had i been scammed for my money. but i can imagine the pain of someone that has had that done to them...
BUT I HAVE THE SOLUTION to the dumping of money from one account to another.
Jagex, somehow make a filter that keeps a record that tells you(jagex)how much someone is trading to another account. once that # breaches 3million, it throws a red flag(figure of speech) for you to investigate what just happened. You could look into the friendship history/see how long they have been friends, or see what the conversation between them was. you could check to see if they have ever talked (this would help against the goldsharing site. if they have never encountered and an account dumps 200mil into their account(the one who paid for the goldsharing) It could be red flagged and the money is put in the trash. boom all that money is gone. problem solved. but, if there are flaws, and a friend gives a present to someone of 5million gp and it gets red flaggedand you dump that money in the trash and that money goes to waste, then it could cause an outrage to both players. mainly the giver.
try something like this. it would prevent goldsharers.

You know what the difference between WoW and RS is? One plays in a browser, and another doesn't. Now, what's your argument again?
WoW installs a program on your computer, that develops a string of code that gets sent back to the server, informing Blizzard whether or not you have botting applications running. They also got into a LOT of legal battles because of it.
