Well lets see. When Jagex talks about bringing the trade limit and old wildy back they are alot of opinions on it all.

For the "Scamming" part: That's all the players fault. Most people get to excited and think oh boy I can make an extra 3M if I complete this trade, then they end up getting scammed. Think about it and watch both of the trade windows before you click the accept buttons.

For the "Old Wildy" part: I love player vs. player, it's wat makes me continue to play to this day. Ya I miss the old wildy but if they dont bring it back then they are nothing I can do about it. For those of you that complain about getting killed repeatidly in wildy. It's also your own fault on this subject if you continue to die. If you continue to keep dying then jus get out of wildy. It's that simple.

Hmmmmm. I was pretty sure I was correct before I posted but I went back and read it over again, and it still says "bring back free trade AND wilderness" vote. I dont see where they separated the two. so I think someone else should reread that part again before they post. lol.

I love Free Trade, it gives you the option to share cash around your accounts, im glad i managed to find a couple old account pass's. All with a heafty sum of cash :3

That is about the dumbest thing i've heard in a long time... bring one back, but not the other? You are kidding right? Lets rationally think about this: Free trade is back but wildy is as now. so you trade, but pkers spend more on supplies to kill a person risking 20m then they get off the 10k loot okay seems to be an issue, but besides that. Lets look at the other side, Free trade isn't there its trade limits, so people have to work the system to transfer in wild. Also merch clans still exist, does anyone else see an issue in what hes trying to say other then me? Those two would allow more bots, and also still allow merch clans seems to be two things Jagex is currently fighting. That is a fact.

stfu who cares about scammers. only noobs get scammed anyway. Your fault. You didnt pay attention. YOU accepted the trade. Its just a game and you can earn it back anyway.

Wilderness. SIMPLE. Don't be a noob. Dont take valuables there. Avoid lures. If you get pked? YOUR FAULT. I think clues and stuff will be relocated. Same with revs.

Alright, I started Runescape in 05-6? haven't played since maybe 07-08, when i started to lose interest in the game, because of all the limits on things you could do, and also other personal interests.
It wasn't till today that I heard about this "free trade, wilderness" thing. I've only logged in to get in on the discussion.
Personally, I'd prefer it back, all back. Looking at the Runescape community, before the major changes in the economy, I really gotta say, that the Runescape community had sort of a, let's say culture, and was much more diverse in terms of people, and how they looked at and played the game. Runescape had a closer tied community, which made it more of a at home feeling' rather than the more manufactured, and strict gameplay now.
Let's take a look at some of the problems that are proposed.
Scammers.
- I've been scammed before, when i just started the game, but that was my own fault. When i signed up for a membership, there was a page of good things about Runescape, such as life lessons. Maybe not so much as it's a game, but many things do relate to real life situations. People need to learn to be smarter, and you learn through mistakes. I believe that we need to be treated more as adults, despite the younger community of Runescape; it will improve gameplay and people will learn to be more independent on the spread of knowledge.
Bots and RWT(real world trading)
- Here's one area that i really did not understand, and if someone could explain to me, that would be appreaciated. As i understand, long story short, botters would make money, and sell the gold for real life money to clients. Now why is this hurting Jagex directly? I can see the economy being afftected to a larger degree, if it was spread more widely, but i've always seen RWT as more of an underground thing, but thats just me. If someone can explain to me why it was such a problem that needed to be tackled, then I could try and throw in my 2 cents to maybe solve it
