I miss the old wildy and free trade.
The old wilderness was a challenge, with the introduction of the non-player vs player wilderness worlds, I find no challenge in doing tasks in the wilderness, that was half the fun.
Free-trade isn't as big of a deal, I wouldn't mind being able to trade with old friends, it'd be great to help them out, so I guess a greatly increased trade limit for people on your friends list for over 6 months would suffice for me.

Hey DoUruden having the trade limit removed isn't a bad thing because this allows people to merchant and hence how I made my millions in RS. However this does mean that scammers will be back and attempt to money illegal methods but they can always be kept in check by just double checking the trade you do.
In my experience I have lost up to about 500k to scammers through my history of playing runescape due to the trade limit. But the amount of money I made due to the free trade would exceed more than 10 million in over 2 months as a level 60 non-member. Especially item lending would benefit a lot from free trade as you would be able to make more money from lending your items.
Overall in my opinion the free trade would be a plus simply because the positive outweigh the negatives by a huge amount.

Vote yes to free trade! I am sick and tired or merchanting clans ******** up the prices on the G.E., and making things shoot up and then crash. I am vexed at the thought of havign the old wilderness back, but atleast free trade will be back online!

Back when the wildy was dangerous and there was free trade runescape was much more fun. I enjoyed the "real life" experence. back when the old wildy was dangerous it had a feel to it. it was what it was sposed to be, a war zone. and when they took it away it was just a waste land with noobs kill dragons with cannons because they cant even make money without flipping out and being assinine. Also the free trade had its pros and cons. its very reallistic, yes i have gotten scamed and most of you reading this probally have 2. GET OVER IT! part of the game is to make money. you must be smart enough not to get scamed and yeah im not the brightest person in the world but you will learn your lesson when you lose 15m and lvl 109 im not the richest either. so dont hate...
Wildy and Free trade are some of the best things in rs! vote yes!

When I log in a BH world, I see pures everywhere.
I dont like fighting pures (as they always ask me to take of armour... or no eating... I never listen to them, so they always run... gah!), and would rather like people who pk on their mains, as they are risking more.
When the wildy comes, pures are going to be everywhere, the ppl who dont wanna risk their main accounts. Wheres the danger in that? A pure can be easily made in a few days, while a main is worked on for the whole time youve played RS. I dont wanna PK ppl who arent brave enough to actually risk their stuff.
---------------------------------------------
I think this is the main reason that revs are asked to be kept. What do you think?

On the topic of the wilderness, when the wilderness was removed was in 2007 Jagex ltd attempted to replace by introducing clan wars, bounty hunter and free up the duel arena for non-members. These mini-games were fun for the first few weeks but after that you got bored of it.
To me the non of these mini-games could ever replace the old wilderness because the wilderness was a fusion of all three of the mini-games mentioned above. In the good old days people including me pked with pures and the main accounts (occasionally) had so much fun, which was matched by no other mini-game.
But now in bounty hunter fighting with a pure isn't the same as in the wilderness this because in bounty hunter you can get attacked by people from level 3 - 50 combat which would be a bad thing if you were a low level pure.

if a jmod reads this take this in consideration, i am a pker staker etc.. well was. and i assure u that the majority of people who are in the forums arent really the pking kind, so dont take this to seriously as obviously skillers dont care and dont benefit as much but bare in mind that in the old day people trained their account for years to be a perfect staker... like 99 attck 99 str 99 defence no pray for no arm no pray fights etc.. and many of them probably quit or felt their work ruined so i defently vote yes for trade/stake/wildy back
also, the g.e is owned by a small amount of very rich people who manipulate prices... this makes me spend HOURS even days trying to get an item fast... when i would easily offer 2x their price if i could so i defently vote for free trade

The funny thing is that, being the really unlucky person i am, i quit right before what many are calling "the best days of RS". Overall it's been like 5-6 yrs i believe, perhaps more. Anyways i started getting back into it right after free trade was taken away.
Sure it was a pain to adapt, but i also understood that Jagex wanted to see where they could take the game w/o scammers and such holding them back.
Runescape doesn't have a problem when it comes to captivating new players because they really do have great ideas like the new clan tools they're introducing.
But we also need veterans of the game and thats whats missing in Runescape. Yeah zezima's gone but maybe he'll come back if this vote goes through.
Although i'm still puzzled as to why they're doing this now when they just cut down the number of botters, i'm still hoping when the free trade and the old wilderness return that the number of players and the retention rate of the game will go up as well.
