Keplers
I would much rather deal with the revs than I would pkers. I was around before '07, so its not like im just spitting words from the blue. With my stats, I would most likely be fine in the wilderness anyways, I just don't care for the extra hassle.

BI, I've played for 5 years now, I know what old wildy PKing was like. It was really fun. I don't have a problem bringing it back, but you guys only want free trade just to get the drops you PKed for. Free Trade is the reason WHY RWT'ing and botting were such huge problems back in '07 and prior. PKing was removed to even cut down on RWT even more, as I can just take 9m into the wilderness, and have my friend PK me for it if he gives me $45 the next day. So they were removed.
Sure they've ramp** up the security and such, but they haven't had any real hands on experience in the past few years with the current bots. Actually they have, RS2Bot, usually slips under their nose with a simple system...

wow i cant believe some of the things i have read, its as if the people who are against the free trade and old wild think we had a choice in whether we wanted the ge and restrictions on trade :/
botters are and have always been a serious problem but there are simple ways to stop bots that jagex has been working on and i believe they will continue to progress and eventually solve the overall problem and at the same time not putting restrictions on the rest of the community as well. a small suggestion for the time being...
having a random 3 digit number that you must enter after so many deposits or withdraws, sorta like a bank pin# but only its a random# it gives you to enter. this would stop the bots from being able to deposit their inventory and thus it would stop the botter from making a huge money gain for the player. this wont stop bots that are made to just go for exp without banking but that would help solve a little of the problem. the biggest gain is the fact it doesnt place that much of a restriction on the community, it will just take a few more moments of time but in the long run it would be worth it for the community.

HEY ANYBODY THAT IS VOTING NO FOR THE WILD AND FREE TRADE.. PLEASE TEL ME WHY I WANT TO KNOW
-----------------------------------------------------------
I voted no
-----------------------------------------------------------
free trade:
It was a tough decision mostly because i am in favor of free trade, and would vote "don't care",or "yes" on that in a separate referendum. It however is not RWT,or Botting that scares but, Price Gauging by individual player. Truth be told i can better deal with a scammer, than a price gauger---
Despite my fear of price gauging more likely than not Bringing back free trade does not bother me--wait and see.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The wilderness:
Yes i agree that the wilderness is supposed to be dangerous.
And, yes this would restore some of what was lost.
but, There is a difference between dangerous and making the wilderness potentially into a slaughter house. Weapons today are more powerful than back in 2007. A fair fight is one thing but setting up average players to be slaughtered at the hands of specifically trained pure accounts is no different than price gauging.
I would support the wilderness if at least one of the conditions are met.
1)Revs patrolling the wilderness takes a strong dislike to skulled players. (skulled as a result of pking, not abyss or something else)
2)Items that can be into the wild. is limited to FTP items, Untradeable items, wilderness monster drops and others individually reviewed(ex limit #*oins and non-ftp runes for example).
3)also open to discuss any other option that makes the wilderness more dangerous to pkers, than their prey.
thanks:

Power, 11/15 of the voters, which is .743 (3 repatting) which is 74.3 repeating percent, aren't ranked on the hiscores, at all. That really draws suspicion that new accounts are being made, or multiple accounts that were previously made are voting with the same opinion.

Respect for not rising to my sarcasm... I personally prefered pkers to revenants but that is down to a personal opinion. Line of sight for a pker is far less than a rev.
That said however, my gripe is with this attitude towards "don't change the wildy because I do..."
The wilderness is the home of evil and all things associated with it. It is if the quest lines are to be followed a highly historical part of Runescape's fictional history.
Things such as the abyss (an evil invention if ever there was one) is used on a risk for reward basis, before the update of course. I've argued that people complaining about this have their safer option and more time consuming one with little risk as an alternative. Curious to see if you agree on that, though you might not my next...
You say that it is just added "hassle", but surely doing a level 3 clue in the wild (or level 4?) the extra hassle is worth it if you are potentially getting a far greater reward than the average scroll.
That's the thing about treasure trails now, they're repetative. There is nothing spontaneous about them. Just my humble opinion of course.

I agree with the post above for several reasons...I would very much like to see free trade and the wild be in two different votes...I also know of many people who use the wild for money making...with a boat load of pvp clans it won't be possible for people to say...go and kill green dragons...or go to the black unicorns wihout being killed....Can there be areas that you can't pvp in the wild? such as Dragons? and paths to sc and clan wars...? This way no relocation is needed of the minigames.
