-About the free trade...
I was scammed several times before the removal of free trade. I cannot say that was fun, but it was Runescape! Being scammed back then was part of the game. One could see it as a harsh welcoming? If you're careful when trading you'll be fine! Some think the prices of things were better before the time of the G.E. while others think prices are better now. I myself haven't really got my opinion on that other than free trade combined with the G.E. as a guide on prices sounds great as it gives you an idea on what things are worth while it permits you set customized prices on your own wares depending on what you had to go through to get them, demand, stock etc. I say let the old wilderness and free trade back into the game and let players manage their own economy! Being independent is fun! Let Jagex take care of the bots, I'm sure they've got methods to track them or are at least working on ways to do so more efficiently. Bring back the old system to see if it works as good as it used to and if it doesn't... what's to worry about? Should the "worst" happen (I don't really know what I mean by that as I don't see how this could be a catastrophe) we can always switch back to the current system! Over and out... or something.
