FOR THOSE WHO WERE SCAMMED OR DO CLUE SCROLLS OR ANYONE AGAINST THE UPDATE READ THIS: If pking is placed on every world, then you must only bring what is necessary. I was here before the wilderness update. Going into the wildy was dangerous but fun. Revanants are far more dangerous than pkers, (if not, close) They are over-powered in so many ways.
To scam victims: wise up, learn what to do when someone makes an offer! this is runescape, the middle ages, Man has yet to really set up a stable trade system! Not only that but some things in this game should be perilous and dangerous! I think that runescape lost the sense of community when the trade limits and wilderness were removed-especially the free trade. Players traded together and did things themselves mostly. WE ran the markets and decided a decent price for the items-not jagex. WE never had a ceiling price nor a stock market that turned merchants into runescape stock brokers who manipulated that system. there was a eeconomic "Triangle" at that time. You had PKers, Merchants (who bought & sold to other players) and those who mined, fletched, runcrafted etc. Even though it hasn't changed, none were dependant on the Grand Exchange and the limits that were set by players were decent for the price offered.
If the wilderness and free trade return, for those of you who are unfamiliar with such an environment, some advice: If you get scammed, that is your fault, report the issue and learn from your mistake. If you go out into the wildy, wear monk robes or cheap armor or if ur a mem, wear initiate or proselyte armour for protection and decent food. if the wilderness is far more dangerous because of pkers, level 3 clue scroll items will be far more valuable due to the risk involved obtaining them.
mini-gamers: I'm sure jagex will have found a way to relocate FoG and stealing creation to far more safer location.
This update will improve the game not hurt it. trust me this will make the game worlds better in so many ways.
