I am for the bringing back of Free Trade and the Wilderness. All the way. I was first attracted to the game over six years ago because of these two great aspects of the game. In the following years, after the Great RS Riots of 2007, I found myself playing the game less and less. I just felt like I was only 'grinding' out skills and that there was very little communication among fellow players. Before RS got rid of Free Trade/Wildy I would talk to other players on a daily basis. I enjoyed looking for deals among the other players and giving away gifts. When I would approach the Wildy my heart would actually beat harder knowing that there was a real risk involved in going past the line. What a thrill! I know that I speak for many who were great players and left the game due to the removal of Free Trade and the Wildy, in that, the very reason they liked RS so much was because of these two great aspects of the game. I whole heartily vote that it be restored. I vote yes.

I feel like the wilderness and free trade was an issue that could have been handled in a completely different way when it was removed years ago. It was actually one of the factors that kept me off of this game when it was taken away. I was building my character to be a powerful pvp player, and then the goal I was shooting for was taken from me in December of 2007. I know that it was for the prevention of real world trading, but Jagex could have controlled it in a different way. I'm glad this is finally being looked at again, and it may spark an interest in me playing again.

Exactly why I support free trade and old wildy. It'll bring many players like you back and players like you were what made the old school RS community great. If you disagreed with someone back then, very rarely would things become a flame fest. Say something like, "Crystal bow is really accurate, I like it." and some new kids will be on your back with, "shut up noob crystal sux d bow ftw" without even trying to logically go, "Hmm...at full charge, it's +100 range and that is accurate but the damage isn't as high as a d bow with dragon arrows and crystal lacks a spec. A rune crossbow could be a better choice."
Back in the old school days, both people would state their arguments and if a point was raised and made sense, it was acknowledged and accepted. You have my respect, mate. =P People like you are exactly why I am proud to say I'm an old school player and that I support the free trade and old wildy revival. Even though I'm effectively joining the masses. Hahaha. =P Happy New Year to everyone.

lol is he doing it on purpose as he knows we winding people up?
my argument is if you bring back wildy it wont be the same now as it was in 2007 now :-
the quest to get zanrik's crossbow was brought out in 2009 hence the weapon did not exist in old wildy
it was just and exmaple to point out theres a lot of overpowerd weapons for rangers and mages that didnt exist back in 2007 (on top of the new prayers)
i listed it because people kept saying yeah like what when i mentioned over powererd items (theres many manmy more).

the point of listing and and its damge was to show if you bringhe old wildy it may look and smell the same but the weaposn and game will not be the same as now theres so many over powered items that cost under 40k that where not around back then.
