There is a way to solve this problem. If jagex had a runescape twitter page that would be fine and they do. However every jmod has a twitter account too, is that even necessary? Just get rid of all the jmod twitter accounts and have them re create the accounts as a normal user, and not affiliated with the runescape twitter page in any way.
Jagex could then say on there twitter page that no jmod has a twitter account and anyone that has a so called account would right away be able to be be identified as a lurer/scammer/phisher ect.
As it is right now, it allows anyone to create and account and make it look like an jagex employee account, and that's what people are doing. Since theirs no way to police it, except on your own forums ironically maybe you should think of a different way on approaching the community. Your own forums. Your own website.
