Thanks for the heads up, do make sure you do full malware and virus scans before you attempt to change or secure your account.
Then you should change your pass to a strong and or impossible to be guessed etc, then you can look at getting these two things to be even more secure.
is
NOT
a Jagex verified account and is tweeting people phising links.
Best thing to do is to report and block them straight away, but also to spread the word to others to stay away and avoid them, so they avoid also being hijacked.
The
REAL
J-Mod Twitter account is
@JagexKieren
which is the right one you want to follow and go too if you want.
I'm concerned that your 2nd post doesn't make it bold enough that the accounts you are listing are fakes. You made a "fancy" list header (¸„‹•*°ˆ°*•› Twitter Impersonator List ‹•*°ˆ°*•›„¸) then you made a gold line about "the newest ones". I feel this could cause confusion for the players who pay less attention, because when you describe something threatening, it is more appropriate to use
Alarming
style of text, and not stylish one. Even myself (when I always read every single bit of text)...I was thinking: Ahh, are those fakes or reals? I really had to guess for a moment.
There needs to be an outrageously bold warning so people know those are NOT safe accounts list, and to be avoided.
Suggestion:
List of
FAKE
Twitter accounts that you need to
AVOID
any interaction with!:
I really hope you consider this, Stevie. Thank you.
