My order of kills-
Dharok-pray melee/use mage
Akrisae-no pray/use range and melee
Verac-pray soul split/use magic
Torag-no pray/use magic
Karil-pray range/use melee
guthan-(if you have pray left)pray mele/use mage
Ahrim-*always kill last due to mele reduceing spells* use claws special to 2 hit 9/10 times.
Teleport home-recharge prayer.
Medalion-teleport to barrows.
Restart.
Items used- 0 pray pots,1-2 rocktails, 1 shot of super/extreme att/str
Gear-elite void-bottom, gloves,gloves, melee/magic/range helms, bandos chestplate/steadfast boots, fury/arcane steam
Weapons-chaotic long/chaotic cbow/polypore staff/dragon claw(for special)

Tip #1: Never forget that the black salamander, while hard to aquire to low leveled players saves a lot of invintory space for weapons while being an overall effective weapon for all but one of the brothers. Never the less it's still good to bring a strong, fast melee weapon such as a d-dagger or whip for lesser kills in the crypts and for Karil.
Tip#2: Don't bother going for anything over 6-10 non-brother kills. It doesn't improve improve your drops. Only the first 6 and the brothers plus a ring of wealth are the only things that improve the loot in the chest.

1) Contrary to popular belief, the spell slayer dart IS affected by your armour's bonuses. The reason it works at barrows, however, is because the melee barrows brothers have negative mage defence and a mage level of 1. This allows you to hit very accurately on them, even with a really low mage bonus.
2) Prayer renewal potions are very useful to counter the prayer draining effect at barrows. You will always have at least one prayer point to soul split flick.

I've done easily over 1500 trips to barrows, 100+ since the update, and my biggest tips are:
When you arrive at the barrows chest and you open it to spawn the 6th brother, be careful not to loot the chest until you have killed him! I recomend closing the chest until you have finished him, so that you do not accidently search it. If you do search it before killing the final brother, then your chances of a barrows item are less as you have only killed 5 brothers at that point!
If you intend to use magic against Karil as I do, which proves an effective method, then be sure to pray against range. She is very accurate and is deadly if you are wearing mage gear, which typically has low defence against range attacks.

Hello.
I wear mage gear to kill dharok, guthan, karil, torag, and verac, and range gear to kill ahrim. I begin my run with full prayer and start with dharok.Always start with dharok because the lower his hp gets, the higher he hits and if your prayer is low, it will run out when he is at low hp. Polypore staff with good mage bonus can usually kill the non-ahrim brothers in 4-7 hits.
When moving through the tunnels, if it is crowded click on the floor beside the door you seek to open and open it when you are beside it. This is because if you click on the door and your character begins running to it, but someone opens that specific door, the "run to and open" command ends and your character stops moving.

I usually go:
Dharok>Karil>Verac>Torag>Guthan>Ahrim
Dharok- Salamander, protect melee
Karil- Salamander, protect range
Verac- Salamander, protect melee
Torag- Salamander, protect melee/tank
Guthan- Salamander, protect melee/tank
Ahrim, Mage bow with rune arrows, Try to tank him

1) Finish Nature Spirit and In Aid of the Myreque, which gives you access to a quick prayer restore and a bank.
2) When in the tunnels, do NOT use prayer. Just run past everything. Kill what you need near the puzzle door. And once you are inside and fight the last Barrows brother, restore your prayer and then you can use it.

Ignore anyone that says slayer dart can be used without any ill effects in melee armor. Slayer dart is still affected by your magic attack bonus, so melee armor will still lower your accuracy.
The only reason this ignorant rumor has lasted so long is because slayer dart was a popular spell to use at the barrows because the runes it requires are a common reward and the melee brothers' magic defence is so low, accuracy with any spell when wearing melee armor is decent.
My advice: Balance the pros and cons of each method yourself.
Using magic with heavy armor instead of using prayer on the melee brothers will save you a bit on prayer potions, but your accuracy will be lower and you can still take some damage.
Using protect from melee with magic frees you up to use robes so your spells will be more accurate, and you'll use less food. However, you'll also spend more on prayer potions.
If you're a high enough level, meleeing the brothers is a viable option and will save you on runes, though you'll use more food or prayer potions and your kills will be slower.
Try out several methods and pick one that suits you, then refine it to perfection. Inventories are not set, and can be customized along with spells, weapons, and armor to suit your style of play the best. There is no one "best" method no matter how popular it may be among the masses and no matter how loudly they scream that it's the "best" method. Experiment and figure out what works best for you, not for someone else.

Hey guys, my tips are to freeze the barrows brothers and use either a polypore staff or a salamander, preferably a black one, with a polypore staff you need some mage gear if you're 80-85 mage but with a salamander you can just use guthan's which I also recommend to heal with in the tunnels. On Karil you should use a melee special attack such as Dclaws or a DDS-I found this works better then a Korasi and I only ever used DDS specs to kill karil and it's very rare that I'll have to use my whip. If your combat stats are low, instead of taking super sets, taking combat potions which are very cheap, and are an attack and strength potion rolled into one, which saves an inventory space. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but I will anyway

If you're new to barrows, or even a veteran joining a barrows friends chat pretty much guarantees a bless, I'm in W31 Barr0ws, and have been for about two years now, but yesterday I saw a new FC called Fallen Godz (I think) which had a decent amount of people in it as well, and due to the high combat level and gear of the owner, I reckon a bless from his FC is also a guarantee

ok my tips are: bandos chest / bandos tasets / fire cape / chaotic longsword / barrows gloves or regen bracelet / fury / fighter helm or helm neit*oit or verac helm AND D CLAWS 2 K0 AHRIM *--------*

VERAC >SOUL SPLIT + TURMOIL =EASY
AHRIM> K0 HIM WITH SPEC OF D CLAWS CUZ HE DRAIN UR STATS
TORAG>SOUL SPLIT +TURMOIL=EASY
GUTHANS>SOUL SPLIT + TURMOIL = EASY
DHAROK> BE CAREFUL WITH HIM WHEN HE REACH LOW HP HE HIT LIKE 500++ SO I ADVICE 2 U HIT THE FIRST WITH SOUL SPLIT THEM SWITCH 2 DEFLECT MELEE OR IF U WUNT JUST PRAY MELEE
