SHORT AND SIMPLE
----------TIP #1--------------
Always keep your prayer on 200+ since your prayer will be drained every 10 seconds to a max of 150 prayer points, this will save you lots of food since you won't be recieving any damage unless it's from verac that can hit through prayer.

Bring friends along incase you die! To compete with each other making it faster and alot more fun.

Just a good tip for dharoks. Your attacks will hit much higher if you drop your bank in the corner of the room. Then remove all armour de activate prayers and watch your attacks rip right through. good luck guys and girl< probably not but just in case.

Tip 1.
~ Killing the creatures within the catacombs increases the amount of runes, bolt racks, and other miscellaneous items, such as a shield left half you yeild per chest. So if you're after any of that, be sure to kill plenty of creatures!
Tip 2.
~ Be sure to complete the myreque quest series, or atleast complete them up until The Branches of Darrkmeyer. Completeing these quests allow you access to druid pouches ( keeps your food safe from ghasts), and also a quick, easy route that will get you to Barrows in less than 3 minutes!

A good killing order before you have do the quest to unlock Akrisae is dharok, ahrim, karil then the others as you see fit a player with 70 payer(me) can be halfway though karl using a black salamander and black dhide armour setup. This way saves prayer meaning you can do a run using 1 praypot or less at the end to refil and 1 dose is normally enough to kill ahrim or dharok should they be in the tunnel.
I always kill dharok first then ahrim as they the most dangerous and it is a waste of prayer potions to kill him later as your prayer will be gone and need a doses of prayer potion to refil. Having 70 prayer means you will unless you are realy unlucky kill dharok and nearly if not completely kill ahrim before your prayer is out and any remaining prayer can be used to protect on karil while using remaining specials with a ddp.
Using 4 pray pots 1 super restore (taking 1 dose each run after killing ahrim) using ddp specials (possibly 2 specials as karil is squishy) so he will be about half dead if you hit before your strength and attk are badly affected and sharks leaving 2 spaces free for drops and having a ddp to kill karl it is easy to get 3 trips to 1 inventory possibly more if your defence is over 80.

1. If you have full prayer points, fight Dharok first so there is last chance of your points running out and him killing you when he is most dangerous.
2. Fight five brothers before going into the tunnels so that you will only have to face one of them in the tunnels.

---Tip #1---
When using magic as your method of plundering the Barrows tomb, wear your best melee armor! The Barrows Brothers (except Akrisae and Ahrim) all have VERY low magic defence - so low that even with a negative magic attack bonus, you'd be hitting incredibly often! This even applies to Karil, despite the excellent magic defence of his armor.
---Tip #2---
It is best to take on Dharok and Karil first. This is because you want your prayer to drain the least while fighting these two, who are possibly the highest hitters of the brothers. You want to save your prayer points to protect against these two to save you the most amount of food and potions. Afterwards, take on the brothers in any order you'd like, saving Ahrim for last. It is best to fight Ahrim last as he drains your stats, which would make any boosts you used useless while fighting the other 5/6 brothers.

1) Akrisae's defence and accuracy aren't great. Akrisae switches prayers to the relevant combat style, for every 150 damage he takes. With this is mind, Korasi Sword users wouldn't need to switch weapon at all. However, it's always more worthwhile to take a fast melee weapon and a bow (chaotic rapier and zaryte bow would wreck Akrisae I'd imagine!)
2) Don't forget to have a Ring Of Wealth equipped before looting the chest. It's better to bring one rather than an extra supply. The chest may provide you with prayer potions and food back, with a good chance when wearing a ring. Often, I breakeven in supplies when personally doing this.

Always kill dharok first and use protect meele agaisnt dharok as he hits high and can kill you in one hit and the crypts drain your prayer.
its best to use protect meele and use magic against him as you will hit him frequently and it uses up less prayer

#1: Bring Ice Magicks to freeze the melee brothers, then you can farcast with any spell you wish. This removes your need for prayer on the melee brothers, good to use if out of prayer restoration.
#2: This works best when combined with tip #1. Bring Blood Magicks and use these instead of bringing food, with the melee brothers frozen you can heal safely. The only limiting factor is the amount of health you can sap from them.
