One definitely important item to aim for: Drakan's Medallion. Its teleports directly to barrows and burgh de rott mean quick banking, and no need to retrace your steps out of the chest room.
A good order to do the brothers in is Dharok->Karil->Ahrim->Verac->Torag->Guthan. Insert Akrisae with Verac if you wish. With Dharok you'll need to pray, so we want to pot up our prayer before him. With whatever prayer we have left we want to use our +15% prayers/piety/turmoil on Karil with dds specs to speed that kill up immensely. Next we'll waste any prayer we have left protecting from magic on Ahrim. The last 3/4 are easy enough and need no prayer at all.

Equipment to bringRing of weath!!! Also bring all 3 types of attacks (combat triangle) *DON'T FORGET YOUR SPADE!!!!* O_o

Range- best d' hide you can wear along with the best crossbow you can use with affordable bolts. Melee- use good defensive armor (rune or better) weapons should be dragon or better Magic- mystic or better. Slayer staff or Staff of light if using slayer dart. Staff of light or elemental staffs for normal or ancient spells Other equipment- Amulet-fury or glory for all attack bonus and to save inventory space Shield-prayer equipment or regular shield (rune or better) Gloves-regen/combat brace, Recipe for Disaster gloves Boots-rune or better Cape-prayer bonus capes help or attack bonus capes Misc- prayer pots (holy wrench if you have one) food (monkfish or better) Handling each monster or bossGet rid of the barrows brothers as fast as you can to save prayer and prayer pots (also remember the combat triangle) Use melee to get your kill count up (killing the monsters) Ways to get therego from Burgh de Rott bank to barrows (fast banking method)Longer method of travel (going from Canifis through Mort Myre Swamp) Best of luck to everyone

you said 2 tips, so here they are:
tip 1: Ganodermic/polypore armour has high melee defence so you dont have to take melee armour to use in the tunnels, which saves on inventory space. It also means you dont have to pray for verac, guthan or torag which saves on prayer potions.
tip 2: DONT USE GUTHANS! guthans takes such a long time to heal with, you could go to the bank, refresh supplies and be back at barrows before you have got to full health by killing things in the tunnnels.

First before you try barrows make sure you have money to invest on prayer pots,runes,food, etc. Also if you really want to save money stick with magic dart at 71+ magic atk bonus you would always hit. If your low on cash use slayer staff but its best to use staff of light. When you reach the mound dont forget to bring a spade! First you should kill them in order of the difficult Veracs-DH-Guthan-Torag-Karil-and Ahrim.For ahrim bring a restore pot since he can lower your attack and strength, dont forget to use dds spec

on him. (P.s its better to mage Karil then melee him)

For players who wish to kill the barrows brothers more than once or twice before banking, then bare in mind that the rope to return to the surface will always be in the Southwest, Northwest, South east or North east corners! Climb this rope to re-enter the tomb you entered the tunnels from, then climb the stairs. Be quick though, as you will receive damage during your escape, from the walls and ceilings collapsing all around you!

Use Drakan's medallion !!!

teleport to barrow, when you loot ur chest use it again you win a lot of time.
Mage -> Dh, Torag, Guthan, Verac, Karil.
Mage/range -> akrisae
Range -> Ahrim
Take 15 shark/ 2mage pot/5 prayer pot why not a sumon like unicorn
(titan sumo or super/extrem def pot if ur low def ?)
I protect only Dh and karil.
Dont pray Verac, hit on pray.
And if you got a good defence level you dont need to pray guthan, torag, ahrim and akrisae.

Rich:
Ring: Dont bring a ring of wealth -> you got only pot (2) in bonus
So seer ring or seer (i)
Shield: Spirit shield (+ for arcane)
Cape: Completionist cape > Max cape > Fire cape > Ardougne cloak 3/4 or just skill cape
Glove: Barrow glove
Boot: Ragefire boots >Infinity boots
Amy: Arcane blast - Stream - Pulse Necklace or just Amulet of Fury
Range att: rune c bow / bolt
Armor: full Ganodermic / akrisae
Polypore staff for mage attack (+400 on guthan I've hit)

I'm going to do 2 very broad tips:
(Hope this doesn't count as more as two :3 still very useful!)
The Myreque quest line: The Myreque quest series is invaluable when trying to get to barrows. The quest line gives these shortcuts/ and perks:
-The tunnel from the Canifis Pub to Morton (In Search of the Myreque quest)
-Access to the Burgh de Rot bank (In aid of the myreque quest)
-Drakan's amulet (Branches of Darkmeyer, only partial completion required)
The Brothers:
The brothers each have different abilities. Some of which are more dangerous than others. Please keep note Prayer will provide complete protection from 5 of the brothers. The only brother this will only partially protect from is Verac. Verac is able to hit through prayer with a maximum hit of about 130-150 through prayer. This is my personal opinion on the difficulty of the brothers and possible order of completion. I advise prayer for all brothers at lower levels. At about 80 defense only the first 3.
-D'harok: The lower the Hitpoints the higher his max is! Watch your prayer! Prayer is almost essential at lower levels and is a nice safeguard at higher levels.
-Karil: Set effect drains agility, Not dangerous at all. Very easy with pray, without he is a very accurate archer! Can be maged almost as good if not better than straight out meleeing him despite the Combat Triangle.
-Verac: He hits through prayer! His max without prayer is about 220.
-Guthan: Set effect heals him at 1:1 ratio of damage done. Can prolong the fight but not as dangerous as other effects.
-Ahrim: Set effect lowers strength 5 levels and has about a 1-in-5 chance of activating. Restore pots are useful after fighting.
-Torag: A good melee fighter but somewhat inaccurate at higher defense levels. Set effect drains run energy, Not a dangerous effect.

If completed quests: Branches of darkmeyer(you get drakan medallion which takes you to burgh de rott bank) Void stares back(gives you korasi sword useful against akrisae after you complete ritual of the mahjarrat) Nomads Requiem(gives you a soul wars cape that give 8+prayer) recruitment drive/slug menace(gives you prayer armour which gives a good some of prayer) Recipe for disaster(complete the full to get barrows gloves it gives the best boosts) in aid of the myreque(gives access to a bank letting you restock on supplies such as food, potions, bolts) Fremennik Isle(gives helm of neitiznot used in both range and melee)
Requirement any but make sure you have 43 prayer
Armour and weapons:
Weapons have any you choose for melee whip and dragon dagger P++(for spec), ranged crossbow(mith bolts+)
Armour melee proselyte if done slug menace or initiate if done recruitment drive or an armour that has high prayer stat like veracs if you are rich and ranged dragonhide armour best is blackdragon hide.
misc:
amulet of glory+, ring of wealth( increases chances for barrow brother armour) something that gives prayer blue or cape (if you complete nomads requiem) and barrow gloves from recipe for disaster and god books(pray) or defender(str)
Inventory:
4-5 prayer or super prayer
a super set(melee: super strength, super defence and super attack. ranged: super defence and ranged)
10-15 monkfish+
and spade.
The Brothers
Ahrim hes a magic user so pray magic he drains strength
Dharoks be very careful always pay attention to prayer and his life lower the life more damage he inflicts so pray melee
Guthans he heals through damage so pray melee
Karils he ranges his hits drains agility so pray ranged
Torags high defense drains run pray melee
Veracs hits through prayer use food pray melee to reduce damage
Akrisae(ritual of the mahjarrat) use ranged weapon with korasi sword(void stares back)korasi special does magic hits, change weapon when he changes prayer and pray melee
pray means protect

For the Magic users out there:
1. Ancient Magicks: Use this spellbook if you have some extra cash to spend on blood runes and death runes (although you will most likely recieve some back from the chest!). Ancient Magic is useful because you can freeze the melee brothers where they stand and not take any damage! (Ice Rush 58 Magic, Ice Burst 70 Magic, Ice Blitz 82 Magic (recommended), or Ice Barrage 94 Magic.) Note that Blood spells will heal you occasionally, so experiment with them as well!
2. For those of you looking for a cheaper but still quite effective Magic method while disposing of the brothers: Use Slayer Dart (55 Slayer, 50 Magic) or a Polypore Staff (80 Magic). Both of these will hit well on the brothers (including Karil and Ahrim, although meleeing Ahrim is sometimes faster).

i have a few good tips for newbies to barrows
1. prayer is highly useful while killing the brothers but it is not needed for all of them , the only brother u need to seriously worry about is dhorak as he can hit incredibly high and very often . if u have a decent prayer level (around 65-70+) u only really need to bring a prayer potion on the 1/6 shot u have dhorak in the treasure room.this will saves u tons of money on potions
2. having a teleport to cannifis via your house is highly useful while barrowing while your at it build a chapel right next to the portal so as u tele away from the treasure chest u can recharge your prayer and go right through your portal into cannifis bar.
3 salamanders are in my opinion the most cost effective route toward killing the brothers its also useful when killing akriase as it can be used as a melee magic and ranged weapon.
4. dont worry about getting your kill count up really high this doesnt effect your chances of getting a better item it only effects the chances of getting runes and bolt racks ect. DEVLE
