Kill the brothers in this order:
Dharok - Absolutely must protect melee. Farcast him.
Guthan - He's a guy with a stick, what can he possibly do. Farcast him.
Karil - Protect range, he can hit accurately. Bring super restore potions\wild pies. Pop in a d claw special or two.
Torag - He looks scarier than he can hit. Proceed to farcast him.
Ahrim - Protect magic. Melee\range him. Bring super restore\restore potions to recover melee stats.
Verac - Farcast him. Prayer is useless so dont bother using overheads on him.
Akrisae - He likes to use prayer, attack him with one style until he puts on protection prayer then switch to another style.
Keep a mental note of which tomb has the hidden entrance and run to it after clearing all the brothers.
Once in the catacombs, always go towards locked doors by going indirectly through other open doors. Once you see black\green spiders you'll know you're close. Once you reach the door, there will be a puzzle you'll need to promptly solve. Kill whatever is currently attacking you and immediately click on the door to start puzzle. Solve the puzzle and go through the double doors. The last barrow brother you didn't fight will either spawn sometime when going through the catacombs or when you search the chest. Fight whoever it may be, be careful. Open chest once done and reap your rewards.
Always bring emergency teleport such as house tabs.
Always bring extra food, potions, ammo.

1) If you do not have Drakan's medallion (I personally don't have one), nor access to ancient magics (I don't use it because it uses a LOT of runes), but do have access to a slayer staff (requires 55 slayer) and 50 magic, use the slayer dart spell; its quite effective. Have at least 50 prayer before going (actually you need 43, but to save some prayer pots, higher prayer is an advantage), some food in case of Verac's hitting you too much, and a combination of good armor. do not forget runes to cast spells (happened to me O_o )
2) the majority of the brothers use melee, Karil is also weak to mage. Ahrim is the only one not weak to mage, so ranging is recommend. It is better to have black knives than a rune cbow, because if you want to go again, you need to keep the bolts in your inventory. If you use knives, then you can put them in your quiver. bolt rack is something almost anyone can hold on to, so that saves space for the moment. if you advance in combat and experience, then you can try different methods. :D

- Don't forget to wear your ring of wealth to positively affect your chances of getting a good drop!
- If you bring prayer restoration potions, don't continuously replensh your prayer; only do so when you are drained of prayer, or else you will waste a lot of potions.
- Only by killing the barrows brothers will it affect your chance of getting a barrows item. Your chances will not be affected at all if you kill any other monsters in addition to the barrows brothers.
- When you complete a trip, it is recommended to bring runes for teleportation or some other method of leaving the dungeon in one click. You won't want to run back out unless you have to!
- If you happen to have Jennica's ring with you when you head to the barrow's burial grounds, show it to the strange old man, as he will have a interesting reaction upon seeing the ring.

Ok, tips... Here we go
1. Equipment: (Note: This is the equipment I prefer to use, you may replace stuff freely :) )
-- Full Ganodermic, Great mage attack bonus and def bonuses.
-- Spellcaster gloves/ Barrows gloves/ Infinity gloves/ mystic gloves
-- Ragefire boots/ Dragon boots/ Mystic boots
-- Ring of Wealth, always keep this with you.
-- Polypore staff

1.5 Inventory: (Again, you can replace things if you like)
-- 3-5 prayer potions
-- Melee weapon for Karil and Akrisae
-- Food (Monkfish or higher) 5-15
-- Enchanted Excalibur (if you got)
-- Melee and magic-boosting potions
-- Drakan's medallion, or any other quick teleport to bank.
-- 10-50 casts of ice Blitz or Barrage
2. The fights:
~~ Here is the order of killing the brothers i prefer:
-- 1. Karil -- 2. Ahrim -- 3. Dharok -- 4. Verac -- 5. Akrisae -- 6. Torag -- 7. Guthan
~~ Strategies:
--- Karil. Kill him with melee, and use protect from missiles/deflect missiles, as Gano armour has low ranged defence.
--- Ahrim. Kill him with mage, and use rest of your prayer here.
--- Dharok, Verac, Guthan and Torag. First, cast 1 ice spell on the brother, and then safely mage him from distance. (You don't need to pray, as the brother can't get you thanks to the ice spell)
--- Akrisae. Kill him with melee and mage, switch style according to his prayers. (You don't need to pray, Akrisae is relatively weak to be a Barrows brother)
3. Safespots.
-- You can safely kill the melee-brothers by using ice spells, this saves a lot of prayer potions and food.
4.Best route:
-- If you have completed the Braches of Darkmeyer quest, you can use Drakans medallion, to teleport straight to the entrance of the area, and also to Burgh de Rott, where you can bank!
-- Otherwise you have to come through the swamp.
5. Tips:
--- The ideal killcount in the tunnels would be 3-12.
--- Remember to use RoW!
~~ J0ker wishes you happy hunting :) ~~

1. Use drakan's medallion to teleport to Darkmeyer, recharge your prayer at the altar there (its a short run so dont worry about getting attacked by vyre)
2. Use prayers like mystic might or augury to greatly increase magic accuracy

1. Black salamander is a good alternative for a weapon. The harralander tar is not expensive, and it has got the magic option which means you should use that on the melee based brothers. It has also got melee option which you can use on Ahrim. Harralander tar usually buys in Grand Exchange and is therefore a cheap and decent weapon which hits good.
2. Take out Dharok first, and pray melee! Unless you do that you may be one hit if you are a lower level, when you are at Verac, do not pray. Verac hits through prayer and it's therefore no need for prayer. There is also no need to pray on Torag, since he is one of the brothers who hits the lowest, but if you feel like taking too much damage, pray melee, this is only for lower levels though. Remember to always take out the ones requiring prayer first, as the prayer gets drained in the dungeons and you may be saved some prayer potions. If you can, use the Drakan's medallion for fast teleport to barrows (After Branches of Darkmeyer). You can also teleport to Burgh de Rott with the medallion, where there is a bank accessable.

1. When you find the puzzle door, don't rush to press an answer, instead kill whatever is attacking you so you can get it right on the first try! Otherwise, you'll be left wandering around more wasting resources to find where the new puzzle door is.
2. Bring a teleport, preferably a one-click teleport, to escape the ruins fast after looting their treasure, before the rocks fall on you!

Okay my tips... well I guess ill just cram them into 2 main tips :D
1-: I guess if your going to do it your gonna wana be prepared.... the inventory and stats required for MELEEING - note mage is alot easier - are these:
70+ Atk (for at LEAST a whip) - 80+ Rec (allows use of chaotics or Gs)
70+ Str------------------------------ 80+ Rec
60+ Def (For at LEAST dragon)70+ Rec (Barrows/Bandos)
43+ Prayer (Protection Prayers)
----
Magers need to be able to use waves/ice BURST
Rangers....well to be honest i dont recommend it but its useful against Ahrim :) - 90+ range only or 70+ for just Ahrim
If you have these stats and you bring super pots, it can become very easy...however i do recommend having higher stats than these as it could take a long time to kill em

2.
Okay so you have those stats?... well i now recommend this:

Inventory:
with lowest stats:
7 Prayer Potions (the longer it takes to kill them the more you will need)
1 Super set (Super atk/str/def potions)
1 Teleport to House with canafis portal > Varrock tele > Any teleport - This is for banking/restocking (TELEPORT TAB)
1 SPADE -< A MUST HAVE MUST MUST BRING I ALWAYS FORGET -- IT SO DON'T!
1 SPEC WEAPON <- Ags can be both so if u want...
1 Black D hide body
1 Rune Cross Bow ( Bolts already equiped)
12 Sharks - This is for verac + dungeon...
basically just pray for all of the enemies... :)

Okay and for High Levels (Recommended stats)
Well the inventory can be mostly the same...
But if you want u can take out some prayer potions and swap them with another Super Set if u plan on doing 2 runs...

the armor is up to you really but i will tell u the best load of weapons...
Chaotic Rapier/Ls > Ags > Other Gs > whip... tbh you can use other things but those are weapons you can use with out any quests and are effective.
Thanks Rawr - P.S message me ingame for help :)
