You might want to suggest they change their wording if gaining help in organising events is not an option.

Some of the events here sound like fun. i do like the idea of the item clue game. If I am on at the time I might join in.

Indeed; anytime I'm in the FC , a player can bounce Event ideas against me or ask for specific help.

If you like clue games - you are gonna love the 'Float Your Goat' scavenger hunt. Despite the title - no live goats will be harmed during the game. ;) “You're off to Great Places! Today is your day!

Awesome thread and interesting events. Just a quick question though - Will we be likely to see any weekday events around or between 00:00 and 05:00 game time?
I only ask because for the working North American the events so far fall during the standard 9 - 5 work period making them unattendable for many players such as myself.

There used to be a nightshift community management team, but they were all transitioned to the dayshift in mid/late-2013. It would be awesome to have 1 community JMod in the office during the UK nightshift in order to organize and support events. Barring that, maybe someone from Player Support could schedule/attend something.

Hey there,

Technically, half or more of the Pmods being american, it is quite likely indeed to see later events at 00:00 and onward game time.

@All:
Quick clarification on the FC 'Mod Events': I created this originally for the Jmod run hosted events so that we may have one central place to run events. This was done after several players and player moderators suggested it.
When the Pmod events team were looking for an FC to use, I told them they could use 'Mod Events' for the same reason.

I absolutely love this concept.
Really puts the 'Player Ambassador' feel back into the Player Moderator positions.

I also like that you acknowledge those who aren't Player Moderators but want to aid in running events and such. I think this is key to keep the community as one. (:
