to everyone thats been asking for the inventor skill... like really? we just got a new skill called divination and you already want another one? most of you posting here are not even maxed and you dont even have high skills... like really everything you 2014 players do is ask for more stuff than what your already getting. and most of you here dont even have 99 divination to begin with!

there is a reason why inventor didnt win the vote , its because jagex just added a new skill and there is no reason to add a new one just 1 year after divination.. at least 2-3 years would do.

I am among those that voted for Invention. It seemed like a good idea and the thought of crafting weapons really appealed to me.

Also, whatever happened to the Church of You? that sounded good, but I haven't heard anything about for over a year.

I'm sorry, you don't like the literal best part of the world events? Change is the whole point of these world events. In universe, it shows the magnitude of these events that are happening. Out of universe, it shows that RuneScape is an organic construct, whose developers are not afraid of change, unlike certain other MMOs. I really like that they did that stuff. Cor Saxi delenda est.

But the smithing/crafting/what-have-you updates accomplish the exact same thing.

I agree, but when we did hear about that it was in pre-pre-preproduction. If I remember correctly, Mod Mark said it had been suggested in a brainstorming session literally the day before he announced it. I wouldn't be surprised if we had to wait until 2016 or even 2017 for that, if it even happens at all. Cor Saxi delenda est.

I mean, that's great and all, but this seemed really disappointing. Most of that stuff is already known about and things that I was really hyped about seem really dull now. In particular, the 200th quest sounds like it'll be really boring and will add nothing new to the story of the game seeing as it runs off of a completely different universe.

The only thing that sounds decent is the Tuska world event, but even with that, there doesn't seem to be much content that makes me feel bothered to remain subscribed to this game.

Let's just hope you prove me wrong, Jagex.

An interesting idea, but it sounds like it's going to be really tough to pull off. Plus, like someone else said, haters are still going to hate, because nobody, not even everybody, can create something that nobody hates.

The 200th Quest
Two words: Get Hyped. This sounds like it's going to be fantastic. Going to be interesting to see how the lack of Player affects the world. Alternate question: What happened to the Player in this world? Did we get killed during the tutorial? That would be kind of embarrassing.

Zamorak Heist
Is the team restricted to Mahjarrat, or might any Zamorakians be brought in? That post could go either way. ('He wants [the Mahjarrat] to form a team'. Does he want the Mahjarrat to be the team, or to recruit other Zamorakians?) Regardless, this has potential.

Elder Gods
'Well known hero'. One of the signature heroes? The wise old man again? 'Teleport the Abyss into Gielinor'. By 'The Abyss', do you mean... Hostilius? What's happening here? I'm excited to find out.

That seems interesting. I might get it once I know more. Or who knows, maybe I'll know more once I get it.

No opinion. It'll happen when it happens, and when it does it'll probably be fantastic, but until then... 'Meh'.

I never heard of this, so it doesn't really affect me at all to hear it's been scrapped.
