Is this no longer happening since the winner of this competition receives the golden gnome instead of the winners of all these categories?

This won’t be the only golden gnome we’re giving out at the event – don’t worry! It’s most likely going to follow similar formats to previous years, so watch this space! :)

As many times as you like! We’d prefer one top-quality video over many lower-quality videos though. You will get one entry per video submitted.

I just submitted a friends entry (he doesn't have facebook, twitter or instagram so asked me to enter it for him) but now when i go to the enter page i just get a "thank you for entering", do i have to make a new facebook account for my own entry?

I’ll get this looked in to. It may be the case that you need to send your entry through an alternative platform (such as via Twitter).

It's nice to see that videos will be judged not only by you guys, but the community as well. That way everyone has a chance to decide who should attend RuneFest, because honestly my first thought was: ''Oh, I bet a top YouTube star with fancy editing tools and lots of subscribers will win... I wouldn't even have a chance if I submitted.'' Although, maybe they are the most deserving for their hard work. I don't know, but I would like to see the underdog win for once. :P

Great thing you're hosting such competition in my opinion, keep it up! :)

But I most agree with one of the posts above that it is slightly unfair to let the community vote as let's say someone like Alkan or Boaty uploads a video and mentions that they're in the competition and would appreciate it if people voted for them, they're most likely going to get thousands of votes very easily, which someone like me, and most other people entering the competition won't be able to do.

Might work out fine, but that's a very big possibility I think. :)

I must agree with the phase 1 of voting.

It will be a popularity contest to make Top 5. Someone new could enter with an AMAZING video with a brand new YouTube account with 0 subscribers. On the other hand, someone like ChrisArchie, Sparc Mac, Jim Sauce, etc can make a less qualified video with 100's of more votes/likes since they have a developed fanbase.

NOTE: Not complaining about this at all, just bringing it to Jagex's attention to see if they've overlooked this scenario in accordance to making some last minute judging changes if complied upon.

In another note, thanks for the contest Jagex. Hope everyone has fun with it.

I have an amazing idea and I will be entering once I have completed my video. I do fear that there may be some bias votes, but I am up for a good challenge!
