Yeah I got the book through the Jagex Store online, came with a pure strength T :D
I must say, this book threw goosebumps down my spine, it was very well thought out.
You'd be nuts not to get this if you enjoy books (I don't like books that much at all, I've only read about 20 books in my life, and this is one of them)

I read the book as soon as it came out, and recently re~read it. Wen i 1st picked it up I thought uh~oh..the writin at 1st seemed a lil stilted, and maybe the author wos tryin to squeeze in 'game' references at the cost of they flow of the story.
But I gotta say once i got into the book i didnt put it down til i wos done lol. A definate boost to RS lore and very in keepin with the 'feel'of the game (luved the white knights names). Tho i have to say.. I look at them white knights with a new pov now!!
One question tho....Where's our sequel??? :@ lol

I've read the book, and i can say i liked the plot very much. I sincerely hope jagex plans future content to match at least to a point to what was revealed in the book. I really hope the sequel involves kandarin, the order of paladins, king lathas, the elves and the dark lord, because i find that part of the game to be one that has the best plots ever, with 5 master quests and some other minor quests involved. Who knows, Church could've had the same idea. I'm really hoping for a sequel, whatever it involves.

I've start to read it 1 mounth ago and I'm all ready on page 130,it's a great novel and the storyline is stupendous so all I can say is that you should buy it as soon as possible! "There's no mystery to what people want. The whole idea though is to serve it up to you in a way which is unique, different and better than you had ever have before". Steve Wynn.

I read this book a month or two ago, and it was AWESOME, great storyline, great characters, great blending of f2p and p2p game elements, great (almost) everything(999/1000 stars)! Except for one thing. The power of items is completely different. The knights say "whoa! adamant! thats really strong!!" One character has an Adamant Sword, and she pwns werewolves and stuff with it. Everyone else has Iron or Steel. Even the white knights. And then the mage guy kills black knights in one hit with Fire Strike (Lv. 13?), which is the only damage spell he uses, but then he also uses Snare(Lv. 50?), which suggests that he knows Water Blast(Lv. 47?) but just chooses not to use it. Completely unrealistic. :| I mentioned this stuff on the TS Church Q&A and he said "They have to get more experienced. Did YOU start playing with a Dragon Ax or a Rune Sword?"
My response (if I could have responded): No, mainly because Dragon Ax does not exist, and Rune Sword is one of the weakest weapons in the game. (I have never even seen someone wielding one.)
Anyone else notice this throughout the book?
