I haven't gotten the chance to read the new paper-back version, but will soon. I have read and owned the hard back since it came out and I have to say that it is a great read. For people who play the game and know even a little about the lore it makes it even better. The author has great talent, and this book is a great show of it. All the details are perfect with the game. This is one you don't want to miss! :)

hello, i'm trout1996 and must i say, i read this book front to back in 2 weeks! all 495 pages! I loved it! can't wait until return to canifis comes out and i hope there is more following that.

Loved it truefully! i don't know but anyone else think Kara-Meir and Theodore should go out? lolz ***SUGGESTION***
T.S. Church ---- Nice job on the book and i hope you continue the series. I bought my copy for $7 at Barnes and Noble if anyone was wondering.

Loved it!
I can usually read a book this size in 3-4 days, but this one kept me coming back - even made me skip a couple of days playing RS.
Hopefully this will spawn a series of books explaining some of the yet unexplained origins of current story lines.
Canifis, Myreque & the Vampyres & Lord Draken, Gnome/Elfish connection, - I get dizzy just thinking about the possibilities!
If you love RS, you should get the book as soon as you can!
