After this book came out on hardback, I decided I wanted to get it. After all, it combines two things I enjoy: RuneScape and reading. I couldn't have been more pleased with the result. It is so well-written, with a wonderful use of vocabulary, and it is very interesting to read about the places of RuneScape, recognizing the scenery of the game inside this book. It is so well-written, my sister, who couldn't care less about the RuneScape world, says "It's a really good story. I usually don't like books with monsters in them, and usually books from virtual worlds aren't very good, but this was."
We rate it 5/5! Can't wait for the sequel! :D

Usaully the first chapter is drabful due to the lack of story and a lot of introductions but somehow this first chapter was a great and exciting way to start the book. I ordered it ;)

I can truthfully say that this is the best book i have ever read. i am a huge fan of books about medievil fantasy, so maybe im a bit biased. i do think the battle between the white knights and the kinshra at falador went on a bit too long, though. i love the end where it turns out that sulla is still alive. i cant wait for the sequel! Gar'rth is my favorite character.

When I first saw it in the bookstore, I laughed at it. Making runescape a book sounded ridiculous. I picked up a copy just to be able to laugh at it when I was done reading it. After I finished reading Betrayal at Falador, I hated myself for laughing at it. This book was amazing, and in my opinion, made runescape seem more lively. It was a gripping novel with plot twists, and reference of game characters. I'm impressed with this novel and will read it again and again.
