I have a sugestion for the poll, why have people be able to vote when they have never encountered the old game! You give them as much athourity as someone who has played since the game was created! This is unfair and they should not be able to have as much say, for most have been playing for probably after that horrible day it was taken away. Shows how much this game can care if older players play or not.
;-) If this does not come back there would be many players quittin who were with you all along. You showed us hope and if you lied many would quit. 192,000 players atm that's nearly 1million dollars loss month....How would you make up for th 8%+3% that don't mind....

Thanks for the new poll, and sorry i have never posted here, i was reading the over 300 post forum and got quite into it!
The new poll was great, ill be glad to maybe send some suggestions your way, after i take a good hard think about some! :D
I used to always forget to vote because i used to rush on and not use the homepage, but now that is it "in your face" its easy to spot and also vote using the same page realy.
Very good job on the homepage!
Slightly off topic...
By the way, there used to be a very nice mod who actualy messaged me via the inbox years ago when i got 99 woodcutting, i quit and forgot the mods name, could you maybe, possibly try your best to find out who he was?
A big task, and im sure HE would not remember but there is hope somewhere.
He was male and i dont know if it was one of the mod marks, ive always been called wood mun. heh XD

About the referendum i find the question unfair in that the vote is for the bring back free trade and wilderness with only 3 options -

i don't mind
When Some people may not want to bring both back but may just want free trade but the pking to stay the same but with free trade adjusted towards its rewards like the old days, but still have pvp and non pvp worlds. I really think that these 2 topics for the poll cannot not be answered together and definately not in a yes or no sense.

I think you should make the NEW post about free trade and wildy more obvious, because the players that submitted their vote in the previous referendum probably have no idea that it's there now. notice how there was over a 75% decrease in votes, compared to the first referendum? i don't really think its fair, making players think that they've already voted, when they're completely oblivious to knowing that there was an amendment to the post several days after it was created. atleast repost the referendum at the top of the news articles to show people that they need to vote again.

I agree with red_deckwins.
I will fully go for the P2P in the Wildreness since I don't go there nearily enough to get seriously hurt or anything, but I am TOTALLY against Free Trade.
The number of Reports for Scamming will sky rocket, the people that didn't want Free Trade will be forced to have to take extreme measures to keep people from scamming them everytime they look to buy something, and those of us that have learned to save up money for what we want will see the armour and things we were saving for sky rocket out of our grasp when we get the price we thought we'd get to pay.
I, myself, am looking forward to Dragon Platebody, and if Free Trade goes into effect I will have to get a lot more money than I bargained for just to get it. I know I could go to Barrows and easily make the money there, but there would be no reason to if the players will have the power to decide on how much I pay.
I, naturally, earn my money through clue scrolls, wood cutting, mining, what have you, because I can do it. But other's would make money ripping people off left and right because there's no system stopping them, and it'd eventually cause problems you had already solved with the Trade System.
I love the Grand Exchange, because I can sit my items in there and wait for them to be sold at a price I'm happy/content with, because I don't have to worry about people scamming me out of the money I deserve.
The fluctuating prices in the Grand Exchange let me know where my items sit price wise, but with Players in control of that I might not get what I deserve, or I could scam someone without knowing it and I'd feel totally guilty about it.
My issues will still stand with this matter when or if Free Trade is put into effect. If it's not then I'll be fine seeing as I won't have to worry.
So I beg you, please reconsider Free Trade.

Personally, I don’t mind either way about the referendum, but I find it bothersome that so many people are voting who don’t know what the old wilderness was like. As great as the vote for may be, I would just ask that you keep in mind how many enthusiastic voters there are who were never exposed to the old wilderness, and that the decision in such a radically game-changing difference should probably reside with those who knew it. I know that this poll exists, of course, to reflect current opinions, but I do think that at the very least, the results have been far too largely skewed by “innocence”.

p.s. Incidentally, as this referendum is for more than one thing, wouldn’t it be ideal to check the votes for each separate item alongside the current referendum?

hello,
i'm writing about latest "bring back wildernes and free trade" pool or referendum-name it as you wish.
in my opinion bringing back the free trade & wildy is great initiative <B>BUT</B> i see two fatal flaws here and that is:

<b>removing grand exchange limits</b>.
i think so because -you see the whole idea behind grand exchange success are the trade limits which are keeping RuneScape economy in sane borders.
in my opinion "limitless ge" would just swing and wobble without reason. it's not only my opinion but i've asked my friends and they are thinking same.
THEREFORE: i'm putting forward and initiative,if i may, that in case of bringing back wild and free trade The Grand Exchange <b> SHOULD BE RETAINED IN CURRENT STATE with price limits ON.

two: completely free trade would bring scamming opportunities back and the dangers that once were would reappear once more-thus if GE. would be retained as it is that risk would be significantly lower than in the case proposed in referendum
