I don't think talking about our personal opinions about the RESULTS of the poll is appropriate here...
I CAN see the merit of a one-sided poll, as just not voting ends up with a default "no." However, there are two things affecting this poll that will make it grossly inaccurate:
1) Ability to vote for any player, and multivote.
2) Millions upon millions of inactive accounts, defaulting to "no." Even with #1, the cause in favor of the wilderness and free trade doesn't stand a chance.

Free trade could go a long way to put an end to merch clans controlling the economy if we lose our dependence on the GE and start trading with each other instead, setting our own prices and offers.
Then with PK as it is, we have 76k tricks which is a nothing more than huge GP falling from the sky on these people.
Maybe both systems are broken, but which of the two would you prefer?
Free trade and Wilderness PKing at least gives the game more interest and challenge. Maybe it won't be all about who bought what skillcapes anymore. Less focus on 99s and more focus on gameplay has to be a good thing.
Tbh, I'd much rather bargain with a woodcutter than put in an order on the GE.
And with Wildy back, think how much your potions and food will be in demand. Skilling makes a comeback.

Wildy is supposed to be dangerous place to go, if you want a peaceful place, I suggest you to go chaos tunnel or lumbridge is the peaces* place in runescape.
Secondly, people are not blind. They can double check first before they click the final button to aceept the trade.

It is true that each account can only vote once. However if i did not wish to vote, you could simply type in my name and vote for me. Don't misunderstand, i voted yes, but i also recognize the problem.
My only real concern is what happens to clan wars and fist of guthix? Members can teleport, yes, but free players will be hard pressed to make it that far. I just don't want to see my two favorite mini-games eliminated.

Jagex has the ability to know which accounts are inactive, i'm sure they will take that into account. But i'm sure we will all agree that voting for other is happening by some people.
And WHAT is goint to happen to clan wars??? :( I would really like to know because as it stands now, unless Jagex takes inactive accounts as a "no", then it is going to be changed back.

Jagex has made a serious error by creating a poll that only allows players to vote for one-option: yes. There is no way to show your dislike for this idea. Furthermore, there are growing reports about lots of people voting for inactive accounts or people who may not necessarily support this idea. Jagex made a really dumb move by making this poll only require a username. Also, it his highly possible that people could create accounts just to vote for this poll. Any statistician would tell you this is a horribly wrong way of conducting an official poll, especially when the consequences could be so large.
Jagex needs to pull the poll IMMEDIATELY.

k i gotta say some things after reading some posts by people no they probably shouldnt have made it to where u can put other ppls name in there but it has a limit to how much u can vote with ur ip and....................................................................................... the no portion doesnt need to be there because majority has to vote it back obviously you ppl only read what u want to read. so guess what if the ppl that dont want it back is the majority then it wont come back but if the ppl that do want it back is the majority then its coming back and as far as the poll being fake jagex wouldnt be foolish enough to pull such a stunt if they did there not smart at all. such a stunt would cause them to lose 250k more members. you people against it are just mad cus u see that the votes have already past 1million i guess ur not the majority here and you will have to deal with it. as far as the wild being more dangerous for clue doers what do u think was happening before they changed it thats petty to even try that arguement. the whole point of the revs was to make the wild dangerous again cus the players could no longer pk there. its called go to a world with no ppl hardly wear some dhide pack plenty of food and if u see any dots log out.
