i agree with lyzak, stellarflare and deva jhai, i thought i would be able to vote no, and so i clicked to vote, but it ended up being a yes. Also, one of my friends voted as zezima, and no it wasnt actually zezima lol. This poll is so flawed. Also, if the old wildy is brought back, clues, quests, and training on armored zombies in the wildy would be impossible. Also, rwt, which jagex seemed to try so hard to get rid of, would be back and strong as ever. Finally, if the trade limit was gone, the ge would die, and I like buying stuff in there easily, it was hell trying to go to seers in w2 to buy stuff, taking hours for what i can now do in 20 seconds. If you really want to get rid of trade limit, maybe it should just be between people who uve been friends with for a long time?

Relating to the new wildy and free trade poll
I know this has already been said, but the way you are gathering "votes" is clearly flawed. Anyone can just enter any name and vote, or even vote anonymously.
Your data needs to be purged, and you need to set up a true system whereby each player must log in to vote, eliminating the ability for people to just enter every name they come accross and submit as a yes vote. There needs to be the option to vote yes and no, and there needs to be a separate vote on each issue.
These are truly important issues that need to be carefully considered.
I like the way PVP worlds allow a choice now where people can avoid the PVP aspect of gameplay by not logging in to those worlds. I sincerely hope you are not removing our ability to choose a world away from PVP.

Ok i see a few people on the forums are against the poll and the idea of it coming back . Look its not going to effect you much at all.
The Game as built an designed around a free trade system. The Ge was then placed in the center of that. Yes its easier to buy and sell items, however it was also the rise of the merchant clans and item manipulation. Going back to free trade now would would still mean the ge could be used as normal, however if the item yo were looking for was not for sale you could then buy it for a friend.
Wildy- Most of you will never have experienced the wildy or might not of even been around that time. But mark my words its the reason why runescape became great. An area where people of all ages and skill can find something interesting to do.
Membership- Ok Runescape is still doing well but the last 3 years have seen a growth in ommrpg play however in runescapes case its never been as high as when the 250k people used to play. The wildy was what put it ahead of other games of its time.
Affects of wildy- If you dont want to pk well nothings really going to change for you apart from the price of some of the items you sell like sharks might go up. Also the map might be changed so that clan wars and fog are no longer in the wildy area.
Vote- Well ok i can see why you might be saying how the votes not fair. However do you think it was fair just to take out something people spent hours of their life enjoying and training for ? You just dont get what it meant to some people. We rioted and i bet there was a fair few tears lost over it but in the end we found ourselves powerless. The poll means people who might of not logged into their accounts in 3 years still have the change to vote.
Thank you to everyone that voted, bring back the game to the way it was will be the best move jagex have ever made.

Yesterday, I was checking out the site with the poll and to my big surprise the name on top of the list with voters was: Horrorsmurf. You can't be serious that someone can put in a thousand names just to get it back while the people who are against it don't get a chance of voting against?
Every other poll ever created by jagex players had to login , but the one time a poll really matters jagex makes this joke and calls it a poll. There are 900k votes atm but if you delete the illegal votes you would get maybe 100k.
I hope jagex makes a real poll with an honest chance for everybody to express their wantings.

I pointed out I played at that time and since becoming a member with the extra quests and clue scrolls, I still like the old PK system, however it would definitely have a detrimental effect on questers and clue finders, so perhaps support my suggestion of attaching protection to clues + chests / leaving some rev wildy worlds for these people to stop the pk'ers ruining other aspects of gameplay.

Jagex, this is clearly not a real poll or petition for the free trade limits/ Old wilderness. This is a publicity stunt- to either set a world record or to alert the rage quitters of 2007 that the good old days are returning. If this was a real petition, you would gladly have the "No" vote instead of a "boycott" which means nothing in terms of statistics.
Also what is up with the lack of weekly polls? I know a poll weekly could be too much, but there should be one every 2 weeks or monthly. Consistency is better than getting lots of polls then nothing for long periods.
While I am against the return of free trade/ old wildy, I am more saddened by this publicity stunt you are pulling- the 10,000 dollar monthly giveaway is also tied into this as a added incentive to get former members to return.
Even if you removed the GE entirely- we will still have buy outs by merch clans- because they can use clan chats to organize merchants at every bank to buy certain items to cause a short supply.
They will not be going away Jagex, not unless you stop ITEM HOARDING. That is the only way to stop merch clans.
