I think that the way that quick polls are received in the long run is going to depend on what kind of questions they ask and, more importantly, what kind of answers are on offer. Taking the quick poll on today's front page as an example, if somebody did not like *any* of the changes, their only possible response is silence. Personally, I don't find that acceptable.
If all the quick polls are going to take the general form:
Do you think that Jagex is:
a) Wonderful
b) Brilliant
c) Fantastic or
d) Amazing,
then I don't think that it will take very long before they begin attracting large quantities of negative feedback.
