ok you jagex people need to fix the game where u lose anything if you pick up ancient statue... i lost 25m with claws due to that if you could please refund me when free trade comes back that would be great other wise i'm really upset due to the 1/5 of claws worth now being in my bank.

I have to agree with others- these polls are rather biased.
I don't give a damn about the Pures playground. I had no option that stated "I am not going to do anything in the wilderness'
I am greatly looking forward to either wasting p pots/ food taking the long way through the chaos tunnels or fending off PKers trying to take my hard earned items.
Rather upset that I have to deal with them now for content that was released AFTER the wildy removal.
I also love that they attack us for trying to keep things safe while they ask for summons/ curse prayers/ extremes to not be used in wildy since it's content they didn't have to deal with before the removal of the wildy.
Lol in real life we call that HYPOCRISY.
But to a self centered individual it is a fair and balanced decision because the common denominator to their thinking is THEMSELVES.

I hadn't checked back in here recently, and I have to say I'm very heartened to see the large numbers of people who agree with me that the polls have recently become complete non sequiturs for lots of people like me.
They seem to be bending over backwards to NOT give answer choices to some types of players, while giving several similar options that could have been eliminated or condensed into one choice for other classes of players. And I'm only speaking of the normal quick polls here; I won't even bother going into the "special" class of "petitions" and "referenda." I haven't yet found one of these new style polls that I have had a desire or even an ability, really, to participate in. I used to look forward to them quite honestly, as I was always curious whether others thought like me or not.
I also find the "disappearance" (here used as a verb) of the poll archives regrettable and interestingly timed in view of polls I can remember on what types of activities people liked to participate in....

So how do I vote in the poll???
I am a non-combat skiller. I want the return of free trade. I do not PK (I don't do any form of combat) and have no interest in the wildy, except to venture in for skilling matters.
Why is there NOT an option for those of us who do not pk??
Why is there NOT a free trade option??
Why do you assume we ALL pk??
"Its a secret" is definitely NOT an non-pk choice!!

I'll tell you why. It's because Jagex is no longer using the polls for their intended purpose. Instead of trying to find out players' beliefs on what aspects of the game need improving and what need to be left alone, they have been using the last few weeks of polls to build hype over the Free Trade and Wilderness update. Well guess what? I don't think there's a single person currently playing Runescape who isn't aware that this update is coming, rendering these types of polls an unnecessary waste of both time and opportunity.
So tell us, Jagex, were the old polls completely unhelpful? Were they just there to make players feel like they really had a voice, while the results were actually ignored? Was the time invested in coming up with the polls not worth the quality of feedback that you received? If these are all true, then by all means continue making pointless polls that benefit no one and change nothing about the game. However, if you did in fact gain something out of the old polls, why not stop trying to promote an update which has already gotten more publicity than any other in the game's history, and once again try to improve the game through player feedback in polls. [/end semi-rant]

Finally!!! A free trade poll

Well there was actually an answer I could select on this. Though an "all or most of the above" option would have made it even better.
I'm looking forward to the return of all of the choices, though the g.e. wasn't around when we last had free trade - if my memory is correct. But will be interesting to see how it goes with no limits. May stop those nasty pyramid/scamming 'merch' clans.
I am wondering how this will give feedback about the game. Perhaps to see how most people use free trade.
Now..if we could just have even a small increase in the assist xp limit.

yay free trade poll is better then others we had recently but still the quick polls cant even compare to the once glory of the old polls. Plz Jagex we jus want the old polls back it not like we asking for much.

I would like to take this time to thank jagex for all your selfless dedication and tireless effort to support the members who have responded to this forums page.I can only guess at the time and commitment it takes to answer all the questions and openions voiced here. It is adimerable that no matter how tough the task my be you always rise to the occasion and give your members your full support.
Take this page as an example... You have yet to even acknowledge a single post. Could we plz get a mod to pop in and let us know you care enough to look at your pages, Or is it just that you want our money for the membership and then your interest ends there? hummm the bottom of page 18 and not one mod post. thanks jagex
