They took the same approach with quests, with the last few years showing the majority falling in the range of either ‘novice’ or ‘grandmaster’ with very few in-between*
**. 4 – Dead content/ Lack of upkeep
With all the problems the monarch was facing, instead of updating the entertainment (minigames) for the peasants morale to increase, they let the entertainment wither away, along with the morale, with no care in sight. Instead, they put most of their infrastructure focus on making their kingdom’s graphics look great rather than make it functional. Which, in their defense, goes along with the saying “built it and they will come”. However, with other kingdoms like LoL and WoW whose grass is way greener on the other side, the monarch needs to change with the times and realize that listening to their inhabitants would have a positive effect on them*
**. 5 – Lack of community/Customer support
The moderators over the kingdom of Gielinor used to value their peasants’ wishes, only implementing updates “that [they are] comfortable releasing” (Mod Emilee). On the contrary, recent updates show major holes in storylines, giant glitches, and patches that take weeks (if not months) to be fixed. Even with all of these faults, the monarch expects the peasants to show their support by voting for them in best game of the year.
I for one will not be voting towards them, as respect is a two way street and I (along with many others) seem to be staring at a ‘DO NOT ENTER’ sign.
