2Mat: Any chance we get a Dragon Crossbow in the next dwarf quest? Maybe Dragon Limbs drop by these dragons the drunken dwarf talk of?

You shouldn't pay too much attention to anything the drunken dwarf says! I'm working on the next Red Axe quest at the moment, but I'm not going to give out any information about the rewards at the moment, sorry.

They're not in development at the moment. Andrew feels - and I kinda agree - that we should finish the continent we've got before opening another one in the East, and the Kudos Island is massive graphics project that's going to be hard to schedule with all the other work going on. I'm sorry I can't give a more positive answer :-(

Unfortunately neither Mod John A nor I worked on Dungeoneering! We're really not in a position to tell you what those guys are planning to do with it in future. Nor can we tell you much about the running of the forums; we're developers.

We're very much aware that RuneScape's clan support is... lacking, to put it mildly. The Game Engine team is planning improvements, although I don't know exactly what.

I'm afraid neither Mod Ash nor I are involved in Dungeoneering so we can't really answer questions about that. In general, we'll probably be more use with questions that are about the content we've written.

He's travelled the world for many years and learnt a lot. I think his biography mentions studying in Varrock library and on Entrana.

It'd certainly be nice for people to go pwning like he does, but it might be a wee bit overpowered as a combat update!

So far, whenever he imparts his magical powers to you, he's done it in the form of XP, and I suspect he'll continue doing that if there are any more quests with him. But new spells might make good rewards too.

I'm assuming you mean The Chosen Commander , and thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :)

As much as I like the idea, there aren't any books based on my quests in the works I'm afraid.

4. I believe Mod Maz is working on an update to the existing diaries.

5. No idea, sorry!

6. If we come up with a great idea for a future quest/update involving the Thingummywut, I'd expect it'll appear on screen. There are no such plans at the moment.

12. They're extremely unlikely to be optional. Making a piece of kit appear differently to different players is rather hard, and causes more work for your computers trying to decide what to draw. The game engine doesn't even support it at the moment. So if some kit gets updated, unless it comes as two interchangeable items, I'm afraid you're going to have to get used to the new look. The GFX guys will try their hardest to make it awesome.

The Red Axe and the penguins don't work together directly. A few dwarf engineers from the Red Axe left the company at some point in the past, and started working for the penguins, as seen in The Hunt for Red Raktuber .

The Red Axe have brought gnomes in because of their magical abilities. What the exact arrangement between the Red Axe and gnomes is, has yet to be revealed.


3 Has the Red Axe more plans before trying to attack Keldagrim?
I'm fleshing out the Red Axe plans quite a bit in the next dwarf quest. Raising an army to attack Keldagrim is only a part of their plan.

I think the plan is to keep releasing diaries, but I can't say when.

No, I don't think there are any plans to give players a choice of how a particular item looks. We'll have to try to make a new appearance that everyone likes.
