Bearsmith: "How often do people at the development team look at the suggestions forum? Do you consider suggestions from players? How many updates have come from the minds of the Runescape community?"
It's standard reading while one's got a bit of spare time, waiting for a compiler to run. But very few of the suggestions there can be taken out and implemented without going through a LOT of other people, such as graphics artists. Player suggestions include the leprechauns' banknote feature, the Shilo Village stepping stone, the left-click Rake/Clear options on patches, the anvil update at the Blast Furnace, the ability to right-click on PMs to reply, the sorted POH bookcases, the ability to ride magic carpets with familiars and weapons, and many other "patch notes" updates. And that's just things I remember implementing based on suggestions.
I must admit that I tend to prioritise updates that I personally want to improve the bit of the game that I'm playing. I'm a player too, and I've got my own suggestions. Sorry :-#
