Here's mine questions: (tbe a lot off em

1: I know the main cave goblin storyline is over, but will there ever be "sidequests" to this? I would love to do another quest together with Zanik, as it was one off mine favorite quest series.
2: What caused the cc/friends list/forums etc to crash jesterday?
3: Will quest capes ever be trimable?
4: How is the next dwarf quest coming up?
5: Do class rings work when not wearing them?
6: Are there more quests involved with the wise old man (and possibly zenevivia) planned for us to enjoy?
7: When is w100 coming back up? Also, maybe its not a bad idea to create another group questing world?
8: And finally, what are your plans for the rest off this year?

OK, I can only answer some of these...
1) I would love to write some mini-quests with Zanik, but there are lots of other things I need to do so I don't know it'll ever happen. I will pass on the fact that there's interest, though, so you never know...
4) Right now I'm working on the core quest code, getting the skeleton in place, which I'll add the polish to later.
6) Nothing planned right now as far as I know.
8) Well, I'm probably going to go on holiday although I'm not sure where yet, and then at the end of the year I'll get together with my family for Christmas...

I'm glad you like Zanik!
A lot of different things inspired her and I don't think I could list them all. One was the character Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica (the new version, where Starbuck is a girl). Another is the song 'Us' by Regina Spektor--that's always how I've imagined Zanik's voice to sound, even though obviously you never hear it in-game. There are lots and lots of other things that inspired the character, though, and a lot of the creative process is subconscious so I don't even know myself.

4)If you do particularily well are you rewarded?
1. Love Story. Code, dialogue and music.
2. The first time we updated the login page to have a worldswitcher menu on it. That was the most complicated thing I ever wrote.
3. We have managers to help with that.
4. Jagex is a good employer, in my experience. That said, what I really like to see is happy players enjoying something I've done to RuneScape, and that is a very rewarding feeling.
