to the mods eoc would make runescape the best game i hav ever played ive played for 8 yrs now and im gonna love it even more all i ask is that you make the chat like it is in runscape 2 becuz it is a little cumbersome to click on it and i find myself just being quiet instead of interacting with other players thank you dwaketheking

Read the transcript, looks really promising! Can't wait for this to go live so I can play it on my account.. Keep it up, players might be complaining right now but that's natural. Change is hard, and as always people will get used to it and find out it's really much better than the current combat system.
Seriously, right now I just click and watch. EOC will make it MUCH more interesting. Make it live soon pl0x!

people pleading for the "old Runescape" Do you guys even pay any attention to what the mods are saying? Did you even watch the livestream? Are your Nostalgia goggles that tinted?
Things are updated not only so they look and run better. But because from the designer point of veiw the "old runescape" combat system has hit a dead end, there's nothing more they can do with the system, so many cool things they've been wanting to do for a long time now they can do because they're going to update the system. Look at some of these changes not just as changes, but possible gateways to brand new opportunities for future updates

I watched the EOC live stream over the last couple days while I had time and I saw that you took defense/hp from 90/10 to 60/40 and that is good for pures and I also realize that pures came about as part of a lapse in the game's original design, but that does not take away the fact that they are there. I would really appreciate, and I'm sure a few others would too, if there were a little more leeway given for the pures of Runescape in the EOC. Also, I think all the parts of the wilderness being multiway combat is not the way it should be. Having different areas that have single and multi way combat is better for the game because it provides for a one on one combat setting that pits two players against each other and winner takes all. Some may say that this is what the duel arena is for, but it just doesn't have the same feel.

I am so excited for EOC. I will be a little sad to see the old RS go as I have been when I logged back in after a year or so away from game, to find that some areas the land had shifted, a little strange but I have loved most of the updates and improvements over the years.
Change is as good as a holiday and if I cant have a holiday in real life.. well then what better place to chill than on Runescape.
