Jagex are not forcing anyone to conform to the new combat system, you can still fight 'Old School' if you want to. I personally love the EoC, I've never really liked the overpowered protection prayers (despite using them religiously) and currently I find training combat quite monotonous.

Perhaps people should read through the transcript, or even better, actually play the beta before complaining.

Can't wait for the live release of EoC :D
