hi just a little thing with the evolution of combat the drop bar with your specials on gets rather frustrating when u click on them and u get pop ups telling you what the attack does i hope this can be resolved as i know many players are geting frustrated with it i understand that it is nesasery to know what each attack does but this could just be in your eventory bit rather than on the screen were it may get in the way of battles and course death in the game by not being able to click were it apears. i hope this can be rectifyed and i hope to hear from u thanks.

i have been reading this and i am disappointed. i dont know if i saw the question about the eoc being elsewhere. but why dont you do something similer to the test? make a different client make some new worlds different server. like runescape classic. so people can play the new rs if they want or the hold rs. but the friends list still stays the same. wouldint it be easier to do that than overwrite everything? i love my current rs. i love how it is and its easier to understand. i dislike the new one cause its just knocking rs out of what it was. go ahead and add the eoc im nto stopping anyone. but i am just suggesting why not put it on a new server like classic. make different worlds for it but having similer roles to current rs.

EOC is the worst thing you could have done to Runescape. I play the game to relax and EOC does nothing but stress me out. you are catering to a few who like it and not to the masses. If you feel it is needed, make it be in only certain worlds and leave the rest of us alone. Thank goodness I got my 99's in combat skills but guess I won't in slayer, ranging and probably dunging now thanks to this crap. Leave it as is. We liked it and spent our money here. Don't make us leave and look for something else and start over.

I agree with TBO Shadow about EOC, I have played Runescape now for nearly 5 years and the main reason why I have played for so long is because it is for the most part - fairly simple and relaxing. It does take awhile to get a skill up to 99 but it has been worth it and like TBO Shadow I have most of my combat skills at 99 as well.

I have tried Beta several times now and it laggs so bad it's frustrating, the revamping of combat has me baffled as to why they have changed it so much rather than just tweaking what we have here now.

Also, to force us all to take it or leave it - my huntch is this isn't an optional update but rather one Jagex is going through with wether we like it or not. Well I don't like it, this isn't Playstation or XBOX - it's a computer. It is entriely different to have a Playstation controller in your hand doing combo moves and adapting to combat statuses like adrenaline and what have you. Although I do play Games on the Playstation like Reckoning and Gods of War, I also play Runescape to get away from that. I have also played PC Games that try to adapt that style of combat and they fail miserably, yeah the graphics are fabulous - but you spend most of your time frustrated.

To me, this is suicide if they go through with this. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that it will fail epicly. Most of your members for one will have to upgrade their computers because their current graphics cards will not support beta, also you have changed everything in the game that your long term members know so well and have made it more difficult - all of this will create so much frustration that many will just leave. I have tried many online games and the main reason why I have stayed with runescape is because it doesn't stress me out, I play because it relaxes me - however that will all change once it is updated to Beta. That will be my last day, it is upsetting because I have put so much time into Runescape.
