Hey everyone,

It is definitely fine to express your opinion in a constructive manner, however some of the posts in this thread are definitely leaning towards personal attacks, X-Files style conspiracy theories, and posting driven by bitter defeat.

Please keep things constructive and congratulatory towards the winners. It was a difficult contest to judge as we received hundreds of fantastic entries, but like Highlander in the end there can be only one winner. We'll definitely be having more contests!

To critique TechEngineer's layout, for me it fails to be effective because the chat tabs take up the whole left side of the screen. There's no reason that that much chat text is typed in all chats at once, that you'd need all 4 open at the same time. I'd far prefer to take the mere seconds to click on a chat tab to see what else is going on, and save the precious screen space, then have all 4 open at once. The only situation in which I might actually use TechEngineer's layout is if I were GE standing (loafing), and simply chatting (and perhaps AFK skilling at the same time).

I looked at Yaralda's design, and I believe that it is a far better, all-around useful, aesthetically-pleasing design. I saved it so I can reference it when making mine.

I also did a "Social" interface which is much more user friendly and accessible without being overcrowding to the screen, because I knew that a social interface would definitely appeal to the developers but instead they chose this half-baked social interface that looks like a mess.

Congratz to them, but I don't like too many chat windows on the screen making it too cluttered on both sides for the winners design which pretty much defeats the purpose of the game adding view distance, and the runner up I don't like the bottom being covered eating almost half the game screen.

Here is my lame simple one, which I plan to use :P
