I'll admit I haven't been through every post but has there been any comment on what happens to our accounts when 'RS3' is released? Do we have to restart or are our stats transferred?

I'm REALLY excited and looking forward to building our own docks and sending hired crew out to bring back loot, especially if the loot includes some of the more difficult to obtain items that we can't make ourselves such as planks for construction. I was wondering if this feature might help the gathering skill mentioned in the live video. :D

Very satisfied, especially knowing the Gods will be playing more of a role. a lot of the ideas presented here are ones I've wanted to see for years, and I'm very excited to have them coming my way :) It is not wise to anger a dragon, sleeping or otherwise. For you are crunchy, and your endorphins when you flee add flavor.

At this point I might as well forfeit my forum rights.
Any topic I saw concern on reading or listening to, I felt like the statement '**** you' was put into each and every one of them. I'm sorry, but if you ask me this game's dropping.
Have fun yelling at me since it seems to be what this community's skilled at.

First of all i want to say that i simply love all the plans that are made by the jagex team. I was kinda afraid that runescape was dying out a little bit, but this interview made me change my mind. The team working on RS3 deserves a lot of credit. I can't wait to be a part of it :D

I have however one, actually big, concern. The part where it says: "multiple characters per account". IMO gold farmers will love that part. Just create an account, run through strongholds, do some easy tasks and boom. You create a lot of money. Therefore i hope that it (maybe) won't be possible to trade money/items of great value between your characters...

Anyway, i love the general ideas of the upcoming updates, both short and long term. Can't wait til RS3! :D

Thanks for typing this up Mod Anon. I'm very interested to see how much of these updates will actually make it into the game next year. Such a long wait. Hopefully the rest of this year won't be too boring either.

Evolution of combat related stuff, then summmoning, and possible mining, smithing, agility, fletching, firemaking, and runecrafting changes, and 2 new skills seems like it'd take up pretty much the whole year to me. You left out construction skill too :3

Looking forward to more god-related content as well. oooo and really really like voice acting. and if we get the have multiple characters per account i could enjoy any voice acting added to older quest :D

"We’re also looking at putting some more unique resources in the wilderness to encourage non-PKers to go in there."

Don't bother. That'll be dead content as soon as it's released. You don't make PKers do quests or skills. Stop trying to make non-PKers PK. What's your problem with letting PKers fight other people who want to PK?

If you hadn't rigged the vote, encouraged the creation of bogus accounts for voting, and tied it to the return of free trade, most players would never have voted for the return of PKers from PKing worlds. The fact is, most players are not interested in PKing. That's why those servers were always deserted compared to the non-PKing worlds. The amount of effort you spend on PKers is far out of proportion to their numbers, and it's high time you stop short-changing the rest of the members.
