4. Adbots are on the rise, and I have personally been reporting every single one that I find, pm's me or otherwise shows their spamming nuisance. What is being done to combat these RWT adbots?
Before we launched ChatWatch, there was an average of 250,000 adverts in game each day. Now that figure is under 10,000.
This is still being worked on currently to constantly improve this system. So in order to help us, please continue to report any of these you see in game, it really does help.

Going to start off with the most obvious and to be expected question.
1) I'm trying to break into the games industry after University (Computer Science ;o!) - but some tips would be nice. Unlike a designer role, I would imagine engine to be more technical, which is where I would ask for some advice.. If you could go back in time, what would you have done differently, and/or what would you advise for someone looking to break into the industry as either in engine/tools or design roles?
- Maths maths and more maths. Also, did I mention, maths? Also some algorithms, data structures and databases help. Also maths. Going back in time...I would take more maths & graphics courses at university
2) Does RuneScape's game engine use Physics at all?
- Not at the moment
3) If/When will multi-core CPU support be added?
- It's added, but disabled. It's not up to release standard yet, sorry.
4) What's up with the 'client token failure' thing? Any fix?
- Client tokens come under the same banner as the cluster flutterer, not ideal but necessary cheat deterrent. In fact, the client tokens are one of the most effective deterrents against botting we have at the moment.
5. To the CM Team, Clans seem to be very popular, however the Leadership structure tends to be a bit unbalanced, in that the "Clan Owner" has the ultimate power. Is there any plans to update or balance this by making all 5 of the original "Founders" share equal clan authority in regards to the Clan forum and Clan tools? The owner of course would retain "ownership" but I think that the 4 founders should have equal control, so that it remains more "Democratic".
I'll be honest, I'm not up on all things Clan, however, if you leave this one with me, I'll get the man in the know to answer this and I'll pop the answer in this post for you.

Soo... I hate to be the person who asks, but in regards to the ongoing FPS issues....
What's the cause, and when's the fix coming along. Please get more specific than "it's a logic engine issue". We love it when you do that <3.

What's the best part about being a game engine developer, and what sort of things has it taught you how to do? And in true programing style, what's the biggest error you've ever accidentally created, both in regards to just being random/funny (I.E, when one of the Jmods made every NPC a stretched out large bat *THEN* delete all the backup models*) or very serious (I.E, deleting those backup models
!)
- Tricky question. Probably that you get to see a little of everything that goes into the game - graphics, sound, networking, tools, scripting. It's taught me that data structures are king - build that first and the rest follows.

3. To the CM Team, there is some ongoing team efforts from the Community to deter botting, and some bot hunts continue, Does the ICU still conduct Community bot hunts with players, and if so, How is that going?
The battle against bots is ongoing, we really appreciate the community taking the time to report anything you consider suspicious in-game and would like to ask that this continue. As for ICU bot busts, I'm afraid I don't actually know if they still do this. But I'll try to find out.

Hey guys, lovin' the new graphical updates atm, but I was wondering, will Battle axes be getting the fresh lick o' paint they deserve, because they look so old now compared to everything else?
Oh, and will construction be getting a graphical reconstruction too? B)

- Are you working on Runetek 6 with amazing new stuff and technologies?
- Actually RT7, but yes
- Will be be able to see soon more awesome particles instead of old outdated graphical effects? Like giving all (dungeoneering) bosses nice particle effects?
- The graphics team are always updating old assets with new effects, so yes!
Has there been an FPS fix recently? I know that a lot of the players are still complaining about low FPS, but I noticed a significant increase in my own recently. Additionally, the game seems to run muuuuch better when the numbers of players online are lower, which is near impossible with bots running around obliterating profits for players.
