Hey Magehunt,
It's not about the numbers, we looked at each community and decided what would be best for that community. We did a lot of research and investigation prior to making the decision so we are confident we have made the right one. Your suggestion for an "I need a J-Mod" thread in each language is one I can certainly make the team aware of.

Ok so this is diferent Mat, more into the "we cant handle it anymore so make it yourselves" way than into the "we are hippy minded making a bigger comunity for everyone, peace and feel the love" way. Correct me if Im wrong
But again it isnt that easy. In spanish comunity there are many clans, some bigger and some smaller, but ALL of them have requeriments to join it, and Im sure Im not telling something new to you. Some clans asks for cmb requeriments, maybe combat lvl, or total lvl, some even asks for specific items. So it wont be really useful for tons of players who dont have those requeriments.
And you can tell me "MAKE A NEW ONE!" yea sure, but many people are already in other clans. For example Im admin in Pink Patrons of Pain because I participate also in english comunity. What happens to those?
Also MANY people dont even know about there are spanish forums (I remember the great mod achilles always promoting them so people could find a place where their questions and issues were answered). Not everyone knows and understands how clan system works, even with those amazing English guides.
And well, what happens to the billing support? or account issues? since mod achilles started at Jagex we noticed a BIG change on the solving problems, because we were able to send them in spanish and were answered in spanish. Thats something clans cant make without Jagex support.

I honestly am not a fan of this decision. :(
I do agree with the whole "wider community" aspect approach. That is beneficial, it will give the other foreign language communities a chance to get to know eachother.
The negative onset of this though is that it WILL break those smaller communities apart. Forcing them in a place where they don't want to be can cause some nasty conflict.
Ah well, guess we will have to wait and see how this turns all turns out. :P

Please, Mod Mat K, don't leave us deserted again.
The Spanish community was left alone for almost six months without support, right after Mod Achilles left your company. A month ago, we received our own Spanish J-Mod representative (Mod Keildest) and the community was joyful because we had your support.
Now, telling us that removing these forums that are like home to us isn't going to make us integrate into the English one. On my case, I am already part of the English one because I have been here for years and because I manage the language pretty well. Sadly, I cannot say the same for my colleagues who only speak Spanish and those other communities that are being removed as well.
This feels like the update you guys had a year ago on separating each community, except that this one is removing the ones mentioned. The update wasn't very popular and you guys recently reverted those changes but to approach to a more severe one: destroy the small communities which have been tightly built thanks to those J-Mods supporting each one.
All members of those communities are fighting to avoid losing their home and stay homeless. Even though I am part of the English community, I side with my Spanish friends as well as every other community fighting to avoid this issue.
I'm Wynd, my first language is Spanish and I'm against this update. I don't want to stay homeless.

Really, if we would want that kind of help, we could went into the English forums alredy. It's just a few clicks.
¿So we won't be able to post freely in our first lenguage?
¿How would you think someone feel when, for example, all people in a country were sended to another by force?
¿So, do you still want to throw to the trash all the effort of J-Mods, F-Mods and players to improve their communities with the forums?
I'll be waiting your reply with patience. :)

This is not what you will think what we need. You are not our parents. Maybe you should do what the player base WANTS instead of what you'd think would be better. Whats the problem just leaving the forums there. Dont fix what isnt broken. Maybe get more forum moderators or players to translate the events/competitions in foreign languages. I can volunteer for it. That way you could arrange events/competitions for every language same time.

I am from the Spanish community and to be honest this update ain't going to affect me. I wont say much because nothing that I say will prevent this from happening.
The only thing that could bring the forums back is a very big hit in Jagex's pocket just like happened with the wildy and free trade, lots of jagex moderators were tired of saying that the wildy would never return and now look they are killing each other in that wilderness.

Jagex, you guys are doing it all wrong, you should make community moderators (player made) to handle the community or clans could create events and make public over threads, the reason why no one use it is because there is no need for, nothing to offer, not enough events, community or rewards.
