EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

An Arms Race

12/3/16 @ 10pm EST
Where:
Eastern Asgarnia
Who:
Any White Knight, Asgarnian Army, and Temple Knight characters within Asgarnia.

It wasn't even dawn before Acolyte Tenner burst past the south gates likely sending the entire local guard and the castle on full alert. Before fainting from exhaustion, the beleaguered man reported that he had been held captive for the past few days somewhere in the woods just south of the city. He was saved by an unlikely individual; his original captor that had previously returned him to the clutches of the rebels. Along with his freedom, he had brought crucial information. Two separate groups of rebel knights are planning to set off for Storme by taking the eastern routes and with them are an untold amount of weapons, armor, and other supplies stolen directly from the southern fort and outpost.

With the risk of bolstering the already formidable strength of Fort Storme both in man and material, Asgarnia has but little time to waste.

This is mainly a two-part event and would involve stopping two separate convoys. Rofls are in demand and if you are interested or have other questions, feel free to let us know before the event starts.

Just in time for the Wintumber holiday, the two infantry brigades from the 4th packed up and were sent back to Fort Sterling; Their mission of border reinforcement completed. With an increased budget and funds, the Army purchased better gear and equipment to outfit it's soldiers. New uniform designs with better protection were immediately issued.

Block leave for all soldiers to return to their families for the holiday and new year was authorized to every unit.

Although the Army remains at relative peace, tensions are still a bit high with a civil war between two counties brewing and the ongoing conflict with the rebel White Knights at Fort Storme. I'm a thief. But I keep, what I steal.

Basically the uniform design is an improvement of the former; Boiled leather curicass with pauldrons & forearm guards reinforced with metal studs over a wool cloth undershirt, and black metal platelegs, self explanatory over, knitted hose. A little hot to wear in warmer climates, so when temperatures are above around 75F or when it's too impractical to work in hot conditions, the wool shirt is authorized to be taken off. I'm a thief. But I keep, what I steal.

A short and simple letter would reach the Commanding General Sinclair of the army. A simple straightforward letter bearing the seal of the Temple Knights, requesting the Army spare a regiment, and bring deliver said regiment to a designated location by the river.
