I just want to take a moment, having read over this thread, to say something:
Please, look at yourselves. All of you.
From somebody who stepped back from this community, from somebody who while having possessed controversial views in the past, is still at a loss as to how people are defending themselves in this thread.
I apologize if I stir up an already-ended argument, but I'm dumb founded at some of the people saying Skype shouldn't be used as a weapon against PoKs... when historically they're just as guilty as literally any other group.
Why do you have to use Skype for underhanded dealings? Why do you have to pass off things simply because you have a feeling, or an idea?
Most importantly:
WHY have you all become so petty and pallid to adversity?
The RP community here has never been perfect - far from it. But at this point, at this time, I'm woe stricken at how little has changed in terms of people treating each other. Where's the kindness? Taking one another seriously?
Come on, World 42. This is embarrassing. I mean, really... I feel a sincere sadness towards a community I once loved, for how far its allowed itself to sunder. And trust me, I know - I've made some of these same mistakes. But I've stepped back, I've tried to learn.
Please, take a step back. Read what you've said on this thread and possibly elsewhere, be it other threads, Skype, or In-Game. Is this really what you enjoy doing to or with one another?
