During an excursion to Rodholm, the party sent by Tommen Calderon battled against a number of undead. One of which was holding a unique claymore-like weapon, etched with runic symbols and glyphs the party did not recognize. The weapon itself was, although clearly several decades old, in great shape and crafted wonderfully. Many months following the event, the blade eventually found its way to the King of Camelot himself, and he had quickly identified the markings on the blade seemed to have a Vekonic origin.
Tommen traveled to Ardougne soon after, the heart of Kandarin, to seek out the current Patriarch and King of the Golden Kingdom, Axel Vekon. He was greeted with open arms. As Tommen displayed the sword, King Axel’s welcoming visage shifted into a worryful expression, After looking over the weapon, he explained that it was forged by a long passed blacksmith, and for very bad reasons. Axel continued, telling Tommen that the sword was to be used in the army of a Necromancer, against the House Vekon, before he was killed.
Afterwards, he asked Tommen to find the final resting place of the fallen Necromancer, and recover whatever information he could, hopefully empowering the Kingdom’s fight against the dark art.

As the setting sun illuminated the Sunlit Hall on the 6th of Raktuber, Year 5 of the Sixth Age, the great leaders of the two western nations came together as one. It was, after much discussion on the futures of two nations, decided that The Golden Kingdom of Kandarin shall be reunited. It was then King Axel Vekon accepted the position of High King of Kandarin, while the leaders of the Northern and Southern marches have become Kings, or remained Kings in the case of Tommen Calderon.

With all rulers in full agreement, previous borders restored, and the Kingdom in a state of peace, the High King Axel Vekon seeks to reestablish ties with Kandarin's neighbors and allies. Today marks the beginning of a new era.
