^Looks like I've seen this a bit late. Sorry.

I'll see if RuneScape will run on the computer I can get on. Otherwise, you'll have to bear the issue here, or I'll see what I can do. I've tried communication with people through RS classic, it doesn't work too well.

Hello Khaine, I would like to express the fact that your thread is simply awesome. It lists most, if not all of the information that one would need in role-play. My only problem occurs with the 4 Offensive Lunar spells: Vengeance spells and the Disruption Shield.

While Vengeance spells would be O.P. In Nature, I do believe that ANY mage, of any sort, would be able to detect the traces of violent wards on oneself that would be these Vengeance wards. Thusly, only those stupid enough to trigger said spells would end up with due harm. Second-most, I would say that these kinds of spells take an incredibly long time to charge and are most draining. Not to mention the fact that such a spell would degrade after being on a person for a long period of time. fourth to be mentioned is the fact that only the 95 percentile of mages (the strongest in the land) would be capable of casting such a spell. This of course would include some of the more prominent Lunar Mages.

Also to be stated, I would say that a Disruption Shield could be applied in that it would defend against only one form of the Combat triangle. furthermore, the Disruption Shield spell would only be known to those well-respected in the Lunar Society due to its power. An Aquaintance of the Moonclan would probably not have any knowledge of this spell. Third to be mentioned is the sheer amount of energy it would take to cast such a spell. The only mages I know of who would be capable of casting such a spell would be Arch-Mages. Therefore, No. Not everyone and their mother can cast such a spell.

To end, Anyone using these spells in Falador Bar is MOST LIKELY a rofl. However, it is NOT out of the question to see a Lunar Mage using it to defend himself/herself (there's only like 3 moonclan guys, oh darn) against a group of bandits along the road. And, given the right excuse, I would say that another prominent magi or friend of a Moonclan would have knowledge of these spells.

Remember, Lunars are peaceful.

To simply put, Dylan. sorry. You don't have enough power to use this spell. Even a Major Rat (sorry, Mahjarrat. I'm not a Zerosian) would have much difficulty casting such a spell as a Disruption Shield. Vengeance Spells would be more common than your Disruption Shields when it came to Lunars, even. And THOSE are a LAST RESORT kind of thing. They don't run around casting them like people throw around coin here.

Just thought I'd give my two cents. All spells are possible, and all spells are O.P. if used correctly.

P.S.

Let's keep the player hate to a maximum of say, none, hmm?

Lunar spells. Been a really long time since anyone talked about them. Last time someone did, it was suggesting how to use those spells in a way that avoided a godmodding/autohitting method, and that is what you read. Of course, the fact that I put it in means that I approved of it.

Since I'm not going to be updating this version of the guide anytime soon, I'll place your changes onto the next one-it's certainly something I agree with, and has information that although absent right now, couldn't hurt to be added. The only reason I don't add it into this version right now is that it would take at least 25 minutes to move all the text around. However, I will place a ''Pending Changes'' in that spot to alert other readers of the changes that section is meant to undergo.

EDIT: either you read Dylan's old comment, or he's bugged you about something else. if it's the second option, good luck. You have my support in it.
