7.9, eh? Well, good to see my computer made it that far before it crashed.
The word document is already taking up 5+ forums pages, and I may add some future content, hence my going for eight. Anyhow, be sure to read throughas this is gradually switched from reserves to the information. Now, I'll get started.
My apologies if bringing parts of this guide up are a bit slow, as I'm doing this while at my job.

I support everything you say on the Element of Wind. All my mage characters so far have been wind mages.
Well not to seem as the attacking sort, I have a few questions...
Where are you getting these facts and theories on this encyclopedia of magic? I mean if they are your own theories, you shouldn't expect every new roleplayer to follower your encyclopedia. Considering there is not much on this thread yet, there is not much for me to criticize.
Also, have you read the other theories of Runescape Magic in roleplay? If not, I do not see this thread going too far. You have to understand, there are /many/ ways one roleplays using magic. I have my own theories on on how it should work, and more experienced people have their theories. Though he is criticized a lot, Samarodian (can't remember his new name) has his own theory that worked for several years. People roleplay magic differently. Like; you do not /have/ to use runes to conduct magic.
Next, is Ikra magic in Runescape Lore? I saw it in your TOC. Ikra magic is a new theory in itself and should not be put on this thread. Ikra magic is only used by Ikras. Although I never had a character in the Ikra clan, I know people who have been. Their magic is extremely different, and they do not use runes. If this thread is to set an example for new roleplayers, Ikra magic should not be listed as it is for the clan only I beleive.
Well, that is all for now... I probably will not be able to come to this thread any time soon since my internet has been out for a week and I am posting from my ipod sapping internet off a diner.
Hell, if you are going to put Ikra magic on this thread, you should have Aren magic
Just a few questions for you to answer and get back to me on, and if not that is fine too. I get confused a lot so I might be missing something you said that would answer my questions, but oh well.
@ Ara,
I include the custom magicks in the end section, as these are the least important. Once I have the Ikra section up, you'll see why it's about impossible for the majority of characters, especially new roleplayers, to know Ikra magic. (I've been
As someone who's actually discussed things in-game with various people, it's not hard to learn how many spells work. Towards the end beyond the custom spells section, there will be a list of people who knowingly (and even unknowingly) helped contribute towards this guide.
Of course, you are correct when you say that some of these are theories or suggestions. For example, the spell charging suggestion is something I only learned of a few months ago, and while I do find it to improve roleplay, notice it is only a recommendation.
Another example is the Shadow section. A nice little asterisk can be seen part way through, and if you follow it to the other asterisk, you'll see it denotes that palyers have multiple interpretations of shadow spells, and that this is generally an ok thing.
Otherwise, I'll try having the rest posted up today, then I'll start taking suggestions and modifications.

@ Aren,
hey, if you can provide enough information for me on it to the point of me being able to analyze and explain it on this thread, it'll be in here, assuming you approve. While Ikra is more known amongst the older roleplayers, I also was able to know a lot about it from being in a clan that used it for about a month. So, just provide infomration on it and I'll add it if you want.
To the public,
Well, we've hit page six, and there's still some more things left. Looks like I should have enough to finish, with a few extra.
