Name: Quintilious "Quinny" Iowerth

Race: Elf

Occupation: Slayer and/or Thief

Brief Background: A bitter veteran of the elf civil war, he abandoned the city for awhile to wander before events led him back home. After slowly reintegrating himself into elven society, he was sent with his partner to the foreign land of Morytania to gather knowledge and skill against the creatures that dwell there. Events led to another, and eventually, him missing in action after being rescued. Remaining in the myre for months, fighting to survive and developing his skills in this unfamiliar harsh land on his own. He was recently rescued and given the news that the expedition to save his life cost him everything back home, so he decided to remain, and further hone his skills. Peace never sat well with him anyways.

Abilities: Being an elf, he has superior hearing, possibly keener eyesight, and above average agility. Possess the knowledge to take down various beasts and has access to the equipment needed to do so, or can request it.

Skills: Primarily an archer with a bow or crossbow. Skilled in hand to hand combat with halberds, pikes, and daggers. Skilled in basic first aid and survival skills. Is a terrible cook, with a specialty and possible preference for rats. Prefers stealth and guile to strength and force, and is not unskilled in using it.

No hippies. Welcome back aboard.

Current report -

The Statuette of the Blooded is currently in safe storage in a remote depot. With minimal equipment, it will be risky locating and taking it. However, there is supposed to be another changing of hands of the statuette, and soon. The precise location will only be determined a night before via private missive.

However, this will give ample time to prepare and to steal the statuette during or after the exchange. The Statuette's current market price is around the 30,000 coin region. However, exactly why it is so sought-after still remains a mystery. Probably just some old tales of nonsense.

Character Name: Cirilla DeVir

Character Race: Human

Valuable Skills:
-Due to her upbringing as a druid in Taverly, she is well versed in the arts of Herblore and Summoning.
-Has a wide range of spells at her disposal from various sources, though her studies have been scattered so she's overall still a novice in the magical arts.
-As a Seeress, she is gifted with slight powers of foresight and precognition. These arts are currently not very developed or focused, and she is unable to do much beyond predict the weather. Most visions are seen as confusing dreams that are almost impossible to interpret for meaning.
-Very knowledgeable on various topics of history, theoretical magic, and other things found in the vast libraries of the Wizard's Tower.

Last Myreque Quest Done: The Legacy of Seergaze

Brief History:

Cirilla was born to a pair of loving parents in the town of Taverly, among the druids. She was raised in their ways for many years, until her 'gift' as a seer presented itself in a rather confusing vision. This caused her to depart the only home she had ever known, seeking answers and a way to learn her gift, so that she could see more clearly. After spending awhile in Seers Village, her impatience drove her to seek answers elsewhere, landing her among the books and brains of the Wizards' Tower. There she remained for some time, attempting to gain more knowledge through the many books in the library, as well as practicing the basics of magic she had learned as a druid. Her lack of patience was once again the bane of her existence, as she once more escaped to seek answers elsewhere. Wandering the world, learning all she could, she eventually came to the horrifying and dark lands beyond the River Salve. She had been following a lead on a particularly interesting book that had been lost when darkness swallowed the land. She often helped people as she passed them by, and this time was no different.

I trust this message reaches you quickly, there has been a slight delay in recovering the statuette - I was beaten to taking it. By Vyres.

It was business as per normal, two fat merchants getting ready to change coin for some trinket when the Vyres stuck, demolishing the guards both men had brought along, as well as leaving the men themselves for dead. They were specifically looking for the statue and took it before I had the chance to get the damned thing.

I managed to get a name, though, "Constance", the vyres seemed to bicker somewhat, but from what I gathered that's their leader.
Or their contractor.

Either way, as I write this I'm sitting in Burgh', ready to set off into the unknown of some castle up north. No idea what I'll find, but if I'm lucky it'll be too busy prancing around it's precious keep to notice a couple of things going missing.

Calsidiu's Log
Caistleday, Wintumber 20th

These last few days have seen us grow in numbers and success, but now we have been dealt two blows. First, Elzbeth was investigating the werewolf disappearances in Canifis, but she ran into the brother of the werewolf merchant she and Kivan murdered almost a year ago. He broke her collarbone and fractured her skull, then punctured her neck when Gwen arrived to investigate the sound of a struggle. The werewolf, Spyke is his name according to my sources, allowed Gwen to teleport away with Elzbeth. If it weren't for my training in field triage and the help of a magical stranger, Elzbeth would have been dead in a minute. She is due to make a full recovery, but I have her on bed rest for now.

Next is the more concerning one. I sent two of the new folk with Connor to Paterdomus to pick up a crate of dried meat I procured. Unfortunately, a squadron of Vyrewatch surrounded them in the Mort Myre and they were set upon by a vampyre wearing ancient Saradominist vestments. This vyre incinerated the box of food and demanded we surrender to double tithes for six months to pay for our transgressions, as well as offering my head as further restitution. He knows full well that even healthy folk only last two, three weeks tops on double tithes.

But that wasn't the what made me worry. He knew where we were. He mentioned Burgh de Rott by name. They've been watching us, letting us operate so long as we were not an issue to vampyre society. And now we have their attention. It's exactly as I had feared with the Barrows tribe. We're right in their crosshairs. And this vyre... he knows we can't take his deal. He's waiting to pounce on us.

Until further notice, I am placing a curfew in effect. Nobody is to spend any unnecessary time outside of a building. We have to keep an even lower profile than normal.

Can't earn Slayer xp anymore.

Just so you know. I work alone, but I document out my work when I've nothing else to do. Mainly to correct the points I went wrong. Being a thief as good as me, you generally tend to write down the few mistakes than the rest of the successful mission. For your eyes only, so you'll know if something had significance.

The castle was much larger than expected. Full of blooded-up, lazy vyres with a few human toys spread throughout.

Thoroughly hid my scent before going in there. Well, tried. Failed, and the vyres caught on. Thankfully, a vyre's senses are easy to abuse. Thus; the flashbomb. didn't have many, though, so it was costly that early on. Thankfully, it got me inside, where I went for a quick dip in the "expired foods room". They drink up humans as if they'll die the morning after if they don't consume at least a cauldron of blood.

Smelling like stale food helped, especially when staying in the shadows.

Second issue was the big one:Blind bad luck. Needed to cause a distraction, and so I decided to shoot a precarious-looking stack of crates. Except someone turned the corner at the last minute, one of the human "servants", and got the arrow to the neck. I'm a thief, but I don't steal lives intentionally. This was just bad luck. And constance knows that it was almost certainly a human who was in her keep, stealing her s**t.

Other than that, no major issues. Deployed a flashbomb, picked a lock while the vyre were too busy trying to claw their eyes out, slipped away, grabbed the key to Constance's vault right from her bedroom, and finally got my hands on the statue. But what the statue DOES, you're not going to like. There's a place called the barrows. I buried the statuette by there. Some of the documents I found out about the statuette...well. We need to talk.

Also. Picked up a very, very pricey looking painting, a jewel-adorned helmet which is worth a fair bit of coin, and a hefty medallion-odd bronze-and-gold alloy.
