I do my very best to accommodate every timezone, so the only reason that my events have been a little later is because that is what we all agreed on was the best time for the event. We'll schedule them, earlier, though, so that it would be easier for GMTers to get in on it!

Annexation of Draynor

So since Panera Bread, the leader of the Sarimian RP not the restaurant chain, has decided to step away from RSRP for now and has left Sarimia to Varrock in doing so, this is a little thing giving life to the annexation event. Those of you concerned with this can chat with me in-game or on Discord, if you have me on there. Here it goes:


Given the sudden crisis in Draynor over its governance following the departure of Syndic Oswald Garner and his successor, the Second Infantry Division of the Royal Guard of Varrock was permitted access by its incumbent government to enter Draynor and restore order; as such, the territory of Draynor was created and the land annexed into the Kingdom of Varrock.

However the territory of Sarim is left untouched, to be returned to the Asgarnian realm. By order of the King, the newly-annexed territory of Draynor will be given its own Magistrate which its people will elect to govern their province and parliamentary districts will be established in the new province so as to give it a voice in the Parliament of Varrock. With the apparent end of the People’s Republic, the Holy Kandar Empire has made a change in its foreign policy. The trade embargoes instated upon the Kingdom of Varrock and now dissolved People’s Republic have been lifted.

The warships taking part in the naval blockade would halt their patrol and resume their prior missions. On land, the armsmen presence along the borders of Misthalin and Asgarnia would become less pronounced as the aggressive seizure of goods was phased out of practice. A portion of them now had a new assignment, occupy Port Sarim. The regiment previously stationed in Rimmington marched forth to secure the peace and quell any dissent towards the Empire’s actions.
